Was looking forward to a nice thanksgiving dinner buffet. Have to say we were all disappointed. There was considerable less food... than prior years and quality of food has taken a dive as well. I hope this was a hiccup and not the new norm. Again, verydisappointed. Read more

Thanksgiving Brunch. This was a huge disappointment. We were looking forward to this for weeks. The quality of the food was... subpar. It was either cold, overcooked and/or dried out. The serving trays were mostly empty when we got there at 2:45 pm.There were 6 different salads, all bland from lack of dressings. Lot of items (salmon, oysters, etc) were missing for thisyear's buffet. Not worth the $50 pp. (Also automatic 20% gratuity added to bill regardless of party size. We were a party of 3) Read more

Part of a hotel, but great history and food.

A reasonably priced up-scale sit-down restuarant that takes the internal design and gorgeous architecture of the Interior of the... Lackawanna Train Station and capitalizes on it to produce an excellent ambience. Can't go wrong with breakfast here if you'restaying in the Radisson or nearby in Scranton. Read more

I was a little confused cause the restaurant in in the main floor lobby with the check in station but its separated in one... corner of the floor. Once we where at our table it didnt matter though. The rest of the scenery is amazing. And the food was topnotch. The calamari was light yet crispy at the same time and i had a prime rib and it was cooked the way i like it and my wifehad shrimp with pasta and she lived it. Price was good and food and service was excellent. Not what i was expecting. Will comeback one day. Read more

My wife and I went here last night. I was expecting a "decent but overpriced" meal which are easy to find at the fancier... restaurants in the area. Man was I really surprised! This was easily one of the top 20 meals of my life (and I'm old and welltravelled). The staff was friendly, service was prompt, waiter was very informative and truly knew all the details of thechef's work to explain and answer our questions. The food was amazing! Appetizers through yo dessert, there was not 1 mediocreitem, it was all fantastic! The decor was beautiful (decorated for christmas) and there was live music being quietly played bya pianist in the foyer. Great experience. I can't explain the older negative comments here. Maybe the staff has changed? Ican't wait to go back! As for price... It's not cheap but if you want cheap, get fast food. It also was not very expensive. Iwould say its priced perfectly for the quality of the meal.7 Read more

The made in house salads, smoked fish, Asian dumpling/noodle bar were great and it was wonderful to see the chef proud of good... work. Some of the other items missed the mark. We arrived about 30 minutes after brunch opened so I would have expected items inchafing dishes (French toast was hard, eggs benedict yolk was solid and biscuits were approaching soggy, pork was tough, fishuninspiring) to be fresher having not sat that long yet. The day we went wasn't terribly busy which probably didn't help to keepsuch a large volume of food turned over quickly enough to taste its best. Waitstaff walked past our table a few times beforecollecting empty plates which grew irritating. I would recommend staff or leadership visit the Wynn Buffet in Las Vegas (similarpricing) to see how to adjust volumes of food and service so this can be a grand buffet fitting of the gorgeous building itshosted in.
