Was in town for the day and googled places around me to eat and The Cove popped up. Don't let the menu fool you....it makes... them look like an upscaled restaurant with pricey food but that is not the case at all. It was overpriced food that wasn't goodat all and nothing upscale about it. Got the chips and salsa as an appetizer- the chips were stale and the salsa tasted likesomeone had poured an excessive amount of salt in it. If a restaurant can't even get chips and salsa right it only goesdownhill from there and it did. My husband and I split a cheeseburger and I'm glad we didn't pay double to each get our own.The lettace was rotten, there was only two rings of onion, the tomatoes were not ripe and there were no pickles on the burger.Add to the bad food a loud atmosphere in a small area. The table next to us was 3 or 4 families with several kids who were loudand running around and even at one point bouncing a ball up and down the room. If people are going to let their kids be unrulyat a restaurant, they need to choose to sit outside not indoors. The only thing decent about The Cove was the service. The new owners have done an incredible job of revamping/renovating the marina from all areas - the cabins, the patio area, the... store interior, the menu, the gas dock. We had mother's day brunch at The Cove and it was tasty! Read more

This place is fantastic. We were staying next door at the beautiful cabin retreat at Tall tree and saw the classic lake action... and vibrant atmosphere while relaxing. We came for lunch with about a group of close to thirty people, half of the group kids.They had plenty of seating, we choose sit out side and watch the lake, volleyball games which went on well into the night. ThereIs a bar inside the restaurant, plenty of TVs, indoor dining, a gift shop and a ice cream store so drop by and get a scoop! Ibelieve there is marina access and gas pumps. The awesome local park called outlook is within walking distance. Hands down thebest little weekend or day experience in this neck of the woods. Read more

This was great! We tried three different burgers and all were great, Raspberry, Goat and All American. My only suggestion would... be let them know how you want it cooked. We did not say we wanted it medium and it was a little more done that I would normallyorder. Still moist and very good, but I will ask for medium next time. Read more
