First off, compared to other places typically on the shore, this restaurant is great. The vibes were slightly dressy but... honestly we went straight from the beach and it was totally fine. I have mixed feelings about the food because there were somecourses that were so good and some that just fell flat. I think the conclusion my friend and I came to is that it's worth it toget the prix fixe menu, but really not worth paying the a la carte prices. For example the standalone lobster & shrimp scampiwas good but pasta itself wasn't that special.. Off the prixe fixe menu, the egg yolk ravioli was amazingly delectable, but themarket fish was just okay for me. Even in dessert, the chocolate mousse cake was great but the tiramisu lacking. Also themushroom side should get a special mention as it was a side but still one of our favorites! Overall my impression was that thefood was surprisingly good but inconsistently so. Still, if you're down for a night out or want to get a nice meal on the shore,it's still a good place to check out! Read more

I am extremely disappointed that David Burke would put his stamp on what is nothing more than a glorified beach club snack bar... quality establishment. It is overpriced, food is sub par, service is fair. The only good thing is the outside seating is waterview from the river to the ocean. I expected far better from Chef Burke. Read more

Expecting so much more but, ended up disappointed. Located in Sea Bright on the strip within a beach club. Arrived at 5PM and... parking was chaotic. Valet parking signs with attendants telling us to find a parking space. The parking lot was very crowded aswe searched for a spot. As we entered a booth with beach club attendants telling us to go up the stairs. Once on the secondfloor, the restaurant was not crowded but, would not seat us until all of us were there. We were finally seated near a windowoverseeing the beach club pool and cabanas with a view of the ocean. In my opinion, it was not the view you would want. Waitresswas friendly and attentive. We started with the hanging bacon and a dozen oysters. The bacon was a thick cut and was a treat.The oysters were fresh. Our table order the branzino, Salmon, scallops & octopus and the linguine clams casino. The food had anice presentation. I had the clam dish. So I can best describe it as eating clams casino when I wanted clams with oil andgarlic. Desserts were delicious. The tab arrived at $425. Read more

Went for our anniversary dinner and did not have a pleasant experience. The main room of the restaurant is robust with live... music and a classy atmosphere. As the host walked to seat us at our table, we were taken to the “other” room where my viewwas children playing tennis and my boyfriend facing the wall. Very casual restaurant decor for such an expensive menu Food is ok/not so good But portions are at least big (regular american... size) Ordered a bunch of appetizers and sides to start Lobster pizza was saggy in the middle and bread not so greatunfortunately Service was good, nice waiter.
