Stopped in for lunch during a day at the beach. The pizza looked dry sitting in the case and tasted even worse. The crust was... dried out and very hard, almost like a cracker. The sauce had little flavor and had soaked into the crust and the cheese had noflavor. I only recently returned home from 3 months in southern Italy and DeNunzio's is not Italian pizza. One of our friendsdid order the strawberry and arugula salad and she did enjoy the flavors. Overall, not quality food for the high prices theycharge. Will not recommend. Read more

July 2021 Extensive pizza and pasta menu, although pasta dishes were way too expensive, so we got a cheese pizza and jalapeño... burger. The pizza was classic NY style and was good, but not anything outstanding. The cheese and crust were tasty but Ididn?t care for the sauce, it really didn?t have any flavor. The burger was forgettable, and I only enjoyed the bun, as the meatwas unseasoned and there must have been 30 jalapeños on it. I would have given 3 stars but they need to work on their service. We waited 15 minutes for a hostess that never showed up and there were 4 people behind the counter that didn?t bother toacknowledge us until I spoke up. After getting our food we had to ask for grated cheese, utensils, napkins, and refillsnumerous times. Not the most attentive, and $4 for a small sweet tea is just robbery. Read more

This is our 4th time here for summer vacation and the food is always delicious. However this is our first time meeting Alexa T... and she was absolutely amazing. First off I?d like to say that the food speaks for itself. The ingredients were fresh, the dough was remarkable, and the quality... overall in every dish I ordered was impeccable. The other reason why I?m writing this review is due to the individuals that (I?m assuming) owned the establishment. The one gentlemen was in the middle of a food order and he took the time out of his dayto stop what he was doing and come over to us and give my 3 year old daughter a dough tossing show. Not to mention if you havesmall children they are kind enough to provide your little ones with a dough ball to keep them entertained until your foodarrives. Everyone there was so kind and the devotion to their craft was visible and translated through the food and theexperience they provided for my family. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or people who are visiting theJersey shore. Wow? this place was great. We sat outside. Alexa did a pizza show for us and the kids loved it. The kids got to play with the... extra dough while the food was cooking. I brought my dog Luna And they welcomed her with open arms. Alexa was a great waitressand made our dining experience worthwhile and fantastic. I highly recommend.
