I'm glad they are getting back to conducting Remembrance day ceremonies after the COVID-19 hiatus. Some technical and... logistical items need to be ironed out before next year's event. Read more

We recently hosted our Wedding reception at the Seabright Legion and it was just wonderful. We very last minute needed a... reception venue in the area and contacted the Legion. Lynn Mclearn, was fast to come up with answers to every question I had. They were able to help us work out every detail. The renal price for this venue was like anything I have seen, not to mentionwhat it included saved us a ton of money. The Seabright legions kitchen was very well stocked , the the bartender Angie isfabulous. She made it her personal responsibility to make sure we had everything we needed , and helped out with things that aredefinitely not in her job description. Overall, the best thing we did was changing our reception venue to the legion. Prefectplease to host a wedding , once all the decorations were up it was hard to believe we were in the legion. Thanks everyonemaking it happen , and will definitely be using the space again for any other events I have in the future. Birthday parties,Christmas party?s, just space for it all. Read more

We had a lovely visit at Legion Branch 116. Angie was incredibly welcoming and showed us around the legion, including its recent... kitchen upgrades. This is truly a multi-purpose venue serving the community and those who have served. We came for a quick drinkand stayed for hours, grateful to make the gracious company of locals and learn about Peggy?s Cove history. Read more

My wife and I were looking for a place to have our wedding reception that was both spacious and cost effective. We had searched... high and low and finally, we came across the St. Margaret?s bay legion. The place had everything we needed and some! As it turnsout, they were in the process of renovating and updating when we went to check it out. The walls are a beautiful blue-grey withwhite trim instead of the brick red and mustard yellow they used to have. They had installed a heat pump so we were able to takefull advantage the AC. Our reception had 90 people and there was ample room for everyone plus a 4 piece band and a large dancefloor! Having the industrial kitchen on site was SO convenient. It allowed our caterer to make our meal hot and fresh! I mustsay though that the best part about the legion was it?s staff and how easy going and accessible they were. We were alwaysgreeted with a smile, every question got an almost immediate and comprehensive answer, and they went WAY above and beyond. Angieeven helped us decorate! Speaking of Angie, she was also our bartender for the night and she was absolutely fabulous! All inall, the legion was the perfect venue and you?d be crazy not to book it! Read more
