I tried the Avacado bites, elote mac-n-cheese and shrimp tacos and was NOT disappointed! The avocado bites were EXCELLENT, soft... with a thin, crunchy, flavorful shell and will be something I'll order regularly. The cheese in the mac-n-cheese was enough tomake me wanna order more! A nice enough place. Went with work colleagues as a group and they handled that well. Staff were friendly and generally quick to... serve. Menu is quite specialised (that said there is a vegan option for the Mac and Cheese which makes up a lot of the menuchoices) but all seemed pretty good. I got the NOLA Mac and Cheese (in photo) and it was super tasty. Good selection of beers.Overall price was about expected. Will definitely go back in the future. Read more

I love mac and cheese! I heard about The Backyard and had to try out what they specialize in. Wait staff was very friendly and... you sit where you like. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere with fun art on the walls. Nice green patio that is dog friendly aswell. Ordered the popper mac and cheese and with orders made from scratch took a bit to come out but the food was great! Goodcheese and flavors. Conveniently served in aluminum bowl makes for easy left over food to go. Will recommend and visit again! Read more
Just came here while visiting the area the past week and this is the best meal I?ve had yet! The everything bagel boneless wings... were some of the best and most creative wings I?ve ever had.
