The service was not great or friendly. The food was sub par at best. I ordered the Azteca Chicken salad. The lettuce tasted... like a bag of iceberg lettuce from the 99cent store. It was supposed to come with a corn bean relish; it had about 2 kernels ofcorn and 10 black beans. I could have made a much better salad at home. Everyone in my family was very underwhelmed by thisplace. NOT authentic Mexican food, and that?s coming from a Mexican-American family. We will not be going back. Read more

Very average Mexican food at high end prices. Not sure about the 5 star reviews? Definitely NOT 5 maybe 3 if you order the... right thing, My 2 taco combo was very flavorless, beans were undercooked and cold and margarita was watered down. I would onlyeat here again if I was starving and would skip the drinks. Service was above average but food average to below so don't trustthese reviews or even Yelp!!! Read more
My friends and I decided to stop by this place for a bite to eat while we were exploring Seal Beach. This place is a perfect... lunch spot, as the food is delicious and the staff were accommodating with our seating preferences. Their cucumber skinnyMargarita was absolutely delicious, and i highly recommend you try it! Their taco salad was also really good and filling. Yummy traditional Mexican food at Avila's El Ranchito on Seal Beach's Main Street! The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty and... bought us some time to look over the menu! Prices are good, location is okay, people are nice and accommodating. Parked in a nearby public parking (3$), not too busy... around 5pm. The food arrived straight away, it was good. The food is a little on the bland side, there?s no overwhelming tasteand there weren?t any sauces on the table. I had to ask for some hot sauce to add more flavor to give it some heat. This isn?ttypical of me to ask for extra hot sauce! I think I would pass on it moving forward. Read more
What a fantastic quaint Mexican restaurant. We were greeted and seated immediately. The staff is warm, caring and friendly. I... had the Cadillac margarita and a chimichanga that was amazing.
