My family has celebrated our annual Christmas Ornament tradition at Walt's Wharf for about 24 years now. We love it here and... can't think of anywhere else we would rather be. The food, the service and atmosphere are excellent. Read more

Really wanted to love this, I'm crazy for Cioppino ($42 here) but their broth was just too mild, not enough depth. More tomatoes... and garlic, wine and cooking time? If you are ever around Monterey Bay I highly suggest Phil's at Moss Landing. Read more

It was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had on my wife’s birthday. 1) Just for 2 small just OK dishes, 2 deserts and... 2 teas we paid $120… ????; 2) Chocolate bomb cake was so horrible, we just left it as is. No chocolate flavor at all. Justsugar with brown color. Mud pie was OK. Nobody asked us if we liked our food or if we did not and why; 3) Lady at the desk atthe entrance did not pay attention to us at all for about 10 mins; 4) They constantly took complimentary bread away from us (3times) without even asking us. I had to ask each time to bring it back; 5) Bread was spoiled. I told them about it. Nobody saidsorry.; 6) Plates and utensils looked like they found it in trash - all dented, scratched, chipped off and looked horrible. Seepictures attached; 7) Black hair in desert (we are all blond); 8) Was a mess on a table right next to us for a long time; 9) Allother restaurants and cafes have much better patio design and at least some flowers and etc. This one has nothing. Here you willfind just simple outdated tables and chairs. Nor nice nor cozy here. We decided to try this restaurant just because it’s oneof the famous places in Seal Beach, but it is definitely in our black list now. They only good thing was is that waitresseswere friendly and attentive. No complaints here. Please read all the negative reviews here first and a lot of them are frompeople who have been visiting this place for years and even they said “never again”. Trust them. Read more

Yum-superbly grilled mahi with perfectly cooked ,crisp Brussel sprouts and coconut rice. Served with a citrus sauce. Hella good... oysters. The seafood pasta dishes sounded fantastic. I would go back. Pro tip-happy hour specials only at the bar. Read more

This place was great!!!! I ended up at Seal Beach one evening, and turns out I got hungry. Weird! Anyways, I wanted something... unique and fresh. Hello, Walt's Wharf! My server was great and knowledgeable, able to inform me that the fish I ordered wascaught local and recently delivered. For appetizer, I chose the Pacific Ahi Sashimi, which was fantastic. Afterwards, I wentfor the Oak Grilled Mahi Mahi from the Grill. And let me just tell you..... It was splendid!!!! I recommend you check out SealBeach for the laid back vibes, and don't leave without filling up at Walt's Wharf!!! Read more

Amazing experience, food, and it's only a block from the pier. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We dine outdoors since we... had our pup with us. I ordered the pasta Pescatore, and my significant other ordered Macadamia Halibut. The food was absolutelydelicious. We both cleaned our plate . The Pescatore cause was perfect. Did not have a fish taste. The noodles were thick, which was a fantastic choice for this dish. The chunks of fish, and cherry tomatoes paired amazing. The sourdough bread pairsgreat with the sauce. The macadamia fish was cooked perfectly. Skin was even tasty. It sits on top of brown rice, and a mangotasting puree of sorts. Everything tasting so delicious when all together. Read more
