I was truly disappointed with the quality of their meat. it was dry and tasteless. it was much better before the pandemic. The... BlackBerry cobbler was also a let down. too much crust and pretty dry and cold. I had cobbler there 3 yrs ago and it was muchbetter then. Read more
Great place food has Always been good and customer service is great. Today I drove an hour as usual to enjoy my BBQ and... unfortunately the brisket was in the dry side plus the 4 small slices were just that I had some tht were as small as my thumbfrom the nail to the knuckle. That's not a slice that's bits n pieces. Please have someone look into this could be a newemployee that may not know how to serve. This could be acceptable in a sandwich but not in a Plate. Brisket was very rough, chicken okay. Doesn't taste very fresh, as if they reheat from previous days. The restaurant itself is... nice, very Texan, but the food disappoints. Water was leaking from the roof. The bathroom toilet stall is missing the door. Foodtook a while even w/ empty restaurant. Read more
It was pretty clean inside. Also cozy. My toddler got confused and removed his shoes upon entering :) Stuff wasn't very... friendly besides one young lady. Others mostly ignored me when I was trying to get an extra cup and and an extra fork. But thefood was delicious. I took brisket and cucumber salad the other reviewers pointed out. Also mashed potatoes. The size of themeal was just right for my husband and too much for me even though I shared it with my toddler. By the way he loved thebrisket and he is super picky. First time coming here and it wasn't that good. Brisket didn't have much flavor and wasn't that great. Potato salad tasted store... bought and beans weren't good either. The brisket was the only thing I ate and was still hungry. They could of given more foodfor the price you pay for the plate. It's maybe $5 worth of food. Read more
Fantastic BBQ and sides. We bring out little girl here and they are so sweet to her too. The chopped BBQ sandwich is amazing, so... are the mustard greens and max and cheese. The coconut cream pie is amazing too. Oh and a super clean bathroom. And drive thruif you don?t want to get out. Read more
