An adventure in dining in Searsport Maine. The atmosphere is funky, but if you like an out of the way experience, you'll enjoy... this. Jordan is delightful and his food is wonderful. We don't have a lot of ethnic variation in this area so it is veryrefreshing. Great for a group too! Read more
Visited Friday night Sept 21. The three of us enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The meal consists of a choice of appetizer,... a shared salad,choice of a entree and dessert. $40. Nice wine selection and he did have some signititure cocktails some wereenjoying. I had the duck entree and it was fabulous. On this night the owner was the only one working and he managed to takecare of 5 large tables. Fun decor and the fire was going. I?m from RI but if I?m here again I would go again. Prix fixe 4 course meal. Nice wine selection. Each course full of flavor and delicious. We were vegetarian and found three... entrees to choose from. Waitress was very attentive and food was somewhat tasty yet seemed to all have similar ingredients. I had purchased coupons on... Groupon (I paid $40 for 2 vouchers with a value of $40 each) and was not allowed to use both. I had called the owner previouslyto making the reservation to ensure that my husband and I could each use a coupon and was assured it would be noproblem.....however it was a problem. The coupon specifically states ?more than one deal voucher can be used per visit?. It wasa very disappointing evening and I will not return. If you are not going to honor the vouchers or you do not understand what youare offering by way of the voucher then you should not offer them. Read more
We expected fine dining and were met with diner type service. Actually most diners do better. The food was mediocre and though... there were 4 (courses) for $40 each person it was worth perhaps $15. The appetizer was pretty good. 2 small chunks of sweetpotato and two small chunks of plantain in a sauce. The salad was brought in one bowl for the 4 of us and was like a chef'ssalad not a dinner salad. The main course for me was a small chicken thigh on a bed of white rice with non flavorful peanutsauce barely covering it. Dessert was 1/4 inch of tapioca in a bowl with a scoop of ice cream. None of our party of 4 we'repleased with the food, service, or cost. Hopefully improvements and MUCH lowered prices will happen. Read more
Every single bite was incredible. Expect an intimate, warm experience. The 4 course meal is paced for ample time to drink, chat,... and relax.
