Had an early dinner here and it was spectacular. Excellent, attentive service. Very friendly wait staff and delicious fresh... food. I had the Salmon and it was lovely. Their drink selection is also superb. Little bit on the spendy side but worth it. Read more
Seating was quick and we were able to bring our pup! The view was pretty and near the ocean with lovely greenery. The hostess... service was superb, but as for the waitress? when served my drink (came with a pineapple piece and cherry in a toothpick), itfell on the table as the drink was placed down. She said ?sorry about that? and I replied with ?it?s ok?, but I wish it was atleast taken off the table or for me to have somewhere to put it. Ended up just placing it on the table near outer edge to makeroom for oncoming food. We ordered their fries and house made lemon ricotta noodles. I opted for salmon as my protein(veryworth) and my husband ordered the noodles with the crab. He said he wished there was more crab and that my dish was much moreworth it with salmon. Server forgot about our fries completely and we ended up having to ask for it as a dessert. As fortaste, the flavor of the pasta was nice, but the ricotta ended up making a gritty texture and the dish was HEAVILYunder-seasoned to my husband?s and my palette. We had to ask for a salt shaker and may have used around 30-40 shakes of salteach. Fries were our favorite part. All we?re crunchy and the ketchup-mix sauce was very good! Great service and atmosphere. Outdoor dining was BOOKED (as to be expected with the nice summer weather) but indoor offered a... wonderful experience as well. Strawberry summer salad (pictured) was delicious. Clam chowder was also solid and the bowl size isincredibly large (we shared a bowl between two people and still couldn?t finish!). The burger and fries was delicious but wasnot cooked as requested. Regardless, would still go back again! Thanks for a fun new eating experience in Seaside! Read more
Love this place. Definitely a step above the normal dining options here in Seaside. The night started with a party of 8 and a... dog. The staff was so apologetic that they couldn't seat us immediately but took our name and phone number to call us when atable became available outside. True to their word a table was ready in about 30 minutes. The wait staff was superb in theirability to recommend items from the menu and was also so accommodating with changes. Our waiter even suggested that we not ordertoo much food for the kids due to the size of the portions! The appetizers were very tasty and included the calamari and crabcake. It was a toss up which was the best between me and my wife. I would definitely recommend both! The main dish that I gotwas the bistro burger. Great flavor that went well together. The cheese, bacon, arugula and bun were in sync. My wife got thehoney Dijon glazed salmon which needed salt and was ok. Flavors were pretty bland but the fish was cooked perfectly. My sisterin law got the ancho rubbed halibut which looked better then it tasted. The ancho drowned out the flavor of the halibut and saltwas lacking. The kids all got the macaroni and cheese with bacon. The kids portion was huge and the normal drinner portion wasenormous. Our waiter even mentioned that he couldn't finish the regular sized meal. Dessert included the s'mores brulee whichwas ok. Not my favorite but the kids loved it. The Bourbon bread pudding was delicious and I couldn't get enough. It wasn'theavy and it was more like a French toast then a bread pudding. If wasn't so stuffed I would have gotten another order to go! Iwould say that the food here was good but definitely a cut above the normal fare in this area. Definitely recommend it here fora better meal when you have the time. I?ve likes Maggie?s for a while. Usually I just order the clam chowder and enjoy the view. I decided to get some dinner. I asked... the attendant what he preferred, and he said the burger was really good. I got it medium rare. The burger had arugula insteadof lettuce for just the right peppery kick. So incredibly juicy! Tons of flavor! It was accompanied by the rosemary fries. Whichwhere also a knock out. Everything is fresh, seasonal, and cooked to order. It?s worth the stop! Yum! Read more
We were looking for a seafood dinner to enjoy on our trip to the coast, and Maggie?s did not disappoint! The cocktails were... fabulous, hand crafted by our server, and every portion of our meal was fantastic. My partner and I each had a cup of clamchowder and shared the Dungeness crab cakes. I was so excited to have crab cakes on the coast! They were very flavorful, fresh,and cooked to perfection. My partner ordered the Tapioca Crusted Halibut (pictured) and I had the Chinook Salmon (pictured). Notonly were these dishes plated beautifully, but all of the flavors were balanced and harmonious with the fish. The entire mealwas excellent. The outside seating looked very inviting, but we decided to sit inside. Very lovely atmosphere, great service,great food. Thanks to everyone who made this such a fantastic experience. Read more
Absolutely the best food I've had in ages! Myself and my friend both loved our choices and ate more than we should have. The... waitress was wonderful and the the space was lovely with a nice view of the ocean. It is definitely high end and quite expensivebut, in my opinion, worth every dime. This is a great place to take someone special on a special occasion. Read more
