We came to Seaside from Washington for a romantic getaway. We were recommended by our hotel concierge to try Sea Crab... House. First off our sever Brooklyn gave us the most fantastic recommendations for our boil since it was our first time at therestaurant. Brooklyn’s service was stellar, she made sure we had everything we wanted & needed and did so with a great smile & positive vibe . If you’re coming to Seaside for any reason make sure you stop by Sea Crab House and try their amazingboil. Side note Crab dip was recommended by Brooklyn and it does not disappoint! We had 1 lb each of crawfish, clams, and mussels. Also dozen Washington state oysters. You can choose the sauce for the boil and... shake. They were all quite fresh and delicious. Oysters were small but really creamy. Crabs on market prices were quite high andsides were simple boiled variety. Nice place for group entertainment. Probably can improve on service as server forgot the sidesand we had to remind. Read more
Great food..good service…great ambiance ! Perfect spot for any occasions :) We ordered almost everything on the menu????????... crab was so fresh and tender..clam chowder is so yumm! Try it with garlic bread which is super crisp and great. We had fun. Tookalmost for 1.5hr to eat ???? Read more
KETCHUP?!? If you're here just for seafood boil, it was very good. The sauce was amazing. The drinks were not great and took... forever to come out. My old fashioned didn't taste watered down but looked it and didn't taste great. If you order the sausagewith your crab, know you're basically (literally?) getting Costco Polish Sausage. As far as I'm concerned that is just a hot dogbut it does have sausage in the name. They do taste good, just not what I was expecting. Don't bother ordering the shrimpcocktail. The appetizer didn't come out before our order. I think she forgot to put it in because she said she'd be right backwith it and then wasn't. It took a good bit of time. The shrimp were overcooked. Not the biggest deal, but meh. The real issuewas the cocktail sauce. The waitress said it was definitely cocktail sauce. It was not. It was ketchup. That was either theworst cocktail sauce ever or they put ketchup on my overcooked, slow to arrive shrimp cocktail. But at least you know the crabis good. Read more
Love that you can build the boil with the seafood of your choice, add corn, sausage, potatoes and the sauce flavor you desire.... Loved the garlic bread abs dipping it in the sauce from our boil. We didn't have room For dessert but it looked amazing to! Read more
I had the Dungeness crab boil with one piece of corn on the cob and garlic bread made in the classic sea sauce. I was so excited... to be here for my first experience of Seaside Oregon and more excited to be going to a place called the Sea crab House as I am atrue connoisseur of delicious crab. Unfortunately this was anything but delicious. It was by far the worst crab I have ever hadand I’ve been eating crab for nearly 40 years. The meat stuck to the shells terribly bad and had nearly no flavor. It cameout so quickly after ordering and one piece still felt cold obviously was pre-cooked frozen or chilled and then flash cooked toget it out quickly and it was terrible. I did not finish which is highly unlikely of me when it comes to crab! Thankfully Iordered garlic bread and I ate the entire loaf of it or I would have left hungry. When the waitress saw me sitting there most ofmy crabs still there on the paper in front of me she asked if I needed a box and I said no then waved her over. I didn’t wannamake a scene as there was another lady sitting there at a machine in the bar and I informed her of my major disappointment. Shegot a hold of the owner trying to make things right with me. Turns out the owners boyfriend showed up and was supposed to comeand talk to me, however, he did not. He looked at me twice but never came and said anything to me. I was there for quite a longtime waiting and when I finally got to pay my bill I found they gave me a coupon for a free live lobster and a six dollar andsome change discount on a $49 crab boil that I barely got to eat 4 1/2 legs of. This coupon is practically useless as I do notintend to ever come eat here again nor would I ever recommend anybody to do so. At this point disappointment doesn’t evencover it. Not sure how this business is still open especially after Covid. Waitress was absolutely the only good part of thisexperience and should be working elsewhere! Read more
We had Celebrated a birthday here. First time visiting this Great Seafood restaurant.. Handmade drinks were Awesome, my Cod... basket was firm & plump, and not mostly coating, husband's Shrimp basket was great as well. Our friends had the 1 single portionShrimp bucket plus Cajun sausage, corn, potato and garlic bread which was plentiful being just the right amount for 2 persons. We would visit here again. This is hands down the best shrimp/crab boil we have ever eaten. We had snow crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn with the... simple Cajun sauce and garlic bread. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. The sauce set it off! I've never had a simpleCajun sauce that tasted that way. It was the perfect combination of sweet and heat. We had wonderful, friendly service thattopped everything off. We will definitely will make this a regular stop when we go through Seaside. Read more
