Decided on Beef bento box, substantial amount of food, more than most bento boxes Pros, sushi roll was good, the beef was sweet... & saucy, the rice was good, and the salad was nice with a rice vinegar dressing was refreshing. Cons, the tempura batter was abit thick, slightly soggy by the time we got back to hotel, but to be expected..also on vacay, so picking a good restaurant ishard to do. I got the Hawaiian Roll. I liked the slices of tuna on top, with a crab & cream cheese mixture & cucumber inside.The tuna was fresh, I should have asked for spicy mayo & eel sauce on the side, if they had it. Food was fresh. They have Ramunelike drinks. Nicely packed for our trip back to hotel room. The food was on par for most of the restaurants around here, whatwe ordered was sufficiently healthy for on the road dining. Employees were super friendly. Read more
I waited almost 40 minutes for lukewarm food. The chicken was cooked through but tasted like metal, I could barely eat it. The... vegetables were very clearly frozen veggies barely heated up. Went inside to order take out on 6/2 at 7pm. Ordered for my family of 5. I was very excited to try this place. Came back in to... get my order and saw another lady taking a big order. 20 min later she comes back and says that it's not what she ordered. Thelady and I look nothing alike. She took home my order. The person working took it to the back and repacked it and tried to giveit to me without saying anything. That was very upsetting and unsanitary. I asked for it to be remade or have my money refunded.It was 740pm at this time. I was hoping they would just remake it because I already waited so long. Said they couldn't remake iteven though they closed in 20 min. Didn't try to make the situation right. I was there for 45 min at that point. Horriblecustomer service and very unsanitary considering they tried to give me food that someone already took home. I realized peoplemake mistakes but this might have been one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Read more
on 2/27/21 my grandson and I went to Cannon Beach and Seaside to do some hiking and photos and then sushi for lunch. We were not... familiar with any of the options googled, but we chose Tokyo Teriyaki. It was easy access at the mall, both indoor and outdoorcovered seating. Doors to enter the restaurant separate from mall and hallway to enter the mall to the restrooms so they wereeasily accessible as well. The staff was friendly and expedient. Service was great and the sushi was good. The tempura veggieswere exceptional! They had yams, asparagus and a Japanese pepper included in the veggies and it was light, crisp, not greasy andvery tasty. Nice staff, clean tables, nice sized portions. I had the Beef Teriyaki Bowl and I really enjoyed the steamed veggies, rice and... sauce. Unfortunately, two large strips of my beef had gristly fat strippings and could not be eaten. I would definitely go back,but I would do chicken over beef. Read more
Good food. Speedy cooks make it nice to enjoy a delicious quick bite without taking alot of time. I like the teriyaki bowls.
