I?m not local - local; but I am Jersey local. Good food for on the boardwalk; and the sushi was surprisingly good. Cajun was... pretty mild and so was the sausage (so don?t expect spicy fare). Everyone liked the food - though it has a high price due tolocation. Read more
Egh. I know I was on a boardwalk so I have to temper expectations but this one was not good. The highlight was the portion size... of the pizza (although super greasy) but that was about it. The price for the quality and portions is probably what bothered memost. $9 for a basic Caesar no protein. $14 bucks for three frozen tenders reheated hand full of fries. $8 for truffle friesthat had hardly any oil and slices of cheese on it as if it was a pasta dish. Four things for almost $60!! I still don?tcomprehend it!! They have young wait staff which was frustrating that couldn?t split bill or substitute fries on a dish. Just.Awful. The place is far from comfortable, it's like eating on an airplane. The food was a little bit expensive for what we got.... Cleanliness was not a priority, at least to the half dozen wait staff standing around chatting. I've felt more comfortable ata McDonald's! Not a good experience, fries were less than palatable, that's what they make catsup for! Don't recommend foranything but a quick bite on the run! Read more
The good: Jamie was excellent, the long rolls are really good, the sausage and peppers tasted as expected for a Seaside... establishment ,and the fries were good. The decent: on a lesser roll, The Fat Jimbo would just be okay, and the chicken fingerswere the average sort. Still, if your choosing among the 3 big bar/ restaurants in the middle of the boardwalk, this is the oneto settle into. Read more
This place needs Robert Irvine or Gordon Ramsey's help!! Worse cheese steak i ever ate! I ordered Xtra cheese, was all roll, 1... peice of what looked like steak um I had as a kid, barely any cheese! My daughter ordered the $20 beach burger, horrible! Frieswere good! Read more
I am sorry but I order a sausage sandwich to go and even went over with the cashier what I wanted on the sandwich. I didn't get... it. I wanted fried onions and green peppers with the sweet sausage. Instead I got regular onions and jalapeños peppers whichare hot. Not the broad walk sausage sandwich. The sandwich was brought all the way to PA. So I couldn't take it back. Pd$14.95. Read more
