Delicious sashimi, kimono and caterpillar rolls! We wanted sushi that does not contain mayonnaise to taste the authentic flavors... of Japan and was able to find it here. Very tasty and the presentation is lovely. The waiter was also very nice to us. Read more
I had the seared salmon belly and albacore belly nagiri, Kimono Maki, and Spider Maki. The albacore belly nagiri and the spider... Maki were made very well. The albacore belly was fresh and super soft to chew. The spider Maki had the crab fried great and thewhole roll doesn't get beat out by any other spider rolls I've had. For the kimono, i think the jalapeno takes away from theflavor of the whole roll and I just took them out. No fault of the restaurant or chefs, just not my cup of tea. Without thepepper, the roll was delicious. The salmon belly was by far my favorite. The sear from a torch was enough to give a smoky flavorand melt the fat in the meat. I wish I just got more of this instead and reduce my other orders. On a note of the restaurant,the staff was nice and the ambiance was good. However I had to wear my jacket the entire time since the AC was going full blastin the back room. Don't know if this is intentional or not, but i would be worried if I ordered more hot items since they wouldcool down really quickly. Read more
The sushi here is always so great. I love the agedashi tofu especially. The hamachi sashimi is also really great. I had gyoza... and miso soup and my wife had a sunomono and we enjoyed them all. So reliably tasty and great service. I have loved this spotfor many years. Read more
Very, very happy about this place. For some reason the ?grill? part of the same made me concerned it wasn?t authentic. The... ambience is great (they played sports but also had studio Ghibli playing on the other side) and sushi was amazing and extremelyaffordable. I think this will be our new sushi spot Read more
