Great ramen, filling, and at a good price particularly for Ballard. Not much seating, so if you're hoping to seat a big party on... an evening be prepared to wait, but for individuals or couples it's fine. Read more

Their Spicy Ramen and Japenese curry with rice are the best dishes I have tired. Pair it with a Sapporo black beer and you are... sorted. Small place with great food. Would definitely recommend this place for spicy food lovers. Read more

Great place to have a quick lunch. I was able to get a bowl of ramen for 13$ another $3 for extra noodles! The soup was amazing.... Egg and tonkotsu were also flavorful. Add some fermented bamboo shoots thou if they have it. Read more

Our favorite Ramen, the place is very small but the food is great, also the customer service!! I would suggest for a party of... four people max other than that it will be a hard time getting a table. I always come here and order the spicy miso ramen withan extra egg. The giosas and the honey something chicken are delicious!!! Read more

Really liked the black garlic ramen and takoyaki. Took one star off because the restaurant smelled slightly like a public... bathroom during my visit. Read more

The Tantanmen (Japanese version of Dan Dan Mein) was very good. The broth was rich with more than sesame flavor. There was pork,... garlic, chives, etc within that soup flavor. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The fried garlic chicken was slightly moresalty then I like but still crispy while covered in the garlic sauce. The flavor was great, just wish it was sweeter but that'sjust personal preference. Read more

Arashi Ramen is a small Ramen restaurant right off Market in Ballard. It's very cozy inside with seating for about 8 groups of... people, and very crammed. However, what they lack in space they make up in taste. Their menu is pretty simple with a fewoptions, and pricing is good for the amount of food you get. Their Ramen bases are where the flavor is at, and I highlyrecommend getting it spicy if you like spicy because it adds so much flavor and depth. Their staff is super friendly and theirservice is very quick too. Would definitely recommend coming here or getting take out if you live nearby. Read more

Good service. Okay Ramen. Not a "must have" as the ratings suggest. I had seen and heard the great reviews, so we decided to... try it once. Didn't love it. Tried it again after an year but still didn't like it much. It's not bad. It's decent Ramen. But idont get why this place has such good ratings. As another review pointed, maybe because this is the best the area has. Anyway,if you're looking for better Ramen, go to Ramen Danbo in Capitol Hill. I had the spicy miso with eggs. The chashu didn't tasteright. Sometimes a bit chewy, and not as flavorful. The broth also didn't feel as rich. We also had the Tangerine Sake which wasdelicious and the saving grace. Read more
