Delicious food and drinks. Perfect spot to wait for a walk-in to Walrus & Carpenter (W&C), or just a chill delicious spot in... general. Even thought the space was completely full (sitting and standing) the service was very attentive, we got our food anddrinks in the perfect amount of time, and they automatically transfer your tab over to W&C. tl;dr I went in and had drinks and snacks, my drink had fruit flies sloshing around the bottom was still charged for it even... though I didn't drink it. My issue is not with the obvious health code violation it was how it was mishandled. I drank maybe a1/3 of it before I realized I might have consumed insects. Informed the server and instead of removing it from the bill anotherwas made without asking me what I would like to see happen (we had a time constraint and logically would I really want anotherdrink from the same speed pour?). I've worked in restaurants long enough to know that my course would have been an apology(which did not happen), removal of the drink from the table, removal of the charge, then a check in. Read more
