Visited for both dinner and happy hour and Barolo is amazing. Great atmosphere with separate sides for quieter dining and social... vibes. Their food is fantastic and the happy hour wine is pretty good too. The staff are super nice. Below are pictures of theshoulder loin steak, grilled cesar salad (my favorite), escargot, and ragitoni. My girlfriend and I wanted to eat a dinner some place after worked at downtown Seattle. We chosen Barolo and called reservation... at 6:30 pm. Barolo is a trendy restaurant and it fills up in no time. I love decorations, chandelier and sophisticated mood. Weordered Spaghetti Alle Vongole: Spaghetti with local clams, evoo, garlic, white wine and Spaghetti Alla Carbonara: Pork belly, cage free eggs, zucchini. Added Cesare Conalle Pesce: Ahi tuna filet with grilled caesar salad. Served complimentary bread anddipping oil. We shared foods and enjoyed conversation. I liked more Spaghetti Alle Vongole. Clams were tender and thick.Spaghetti Alla Carbonara was a little oily. Grilled caesar salad was a good taste. A served lady was a great personality andkind. We'll be back soon. Read more

Came here for an anniversary dinner with my fiancé and loved the vibe as soon as we entered. We spit the romana grigliata... (grilled romaine heart, caesar dressing, shaved reggiano) Some of the best Caesar salad I've had! Romaine was big and grilledjust right. The shaved parm was pretty and generous, and crunchy croutons too! That dressing? Amazing! Only downside is that Ihad asked for dressing on the side. They put it on top and there was just too much dressing now I ordered the anatra ai funghi(seared duck breast, mushrooms, toasted mission figs) but asked for cauliflower instead of mushrooms. The portion ofcauliflower was very little. I really liked the sauce though! Figs went really well with the duck and sauce. Now for the duck:SO GOOD! Perfectly cooked, not at all chewy, just right! And also had a crustfrom the sear on the outside. Amazing. Fiancé forthe costolette di agnello all' amarone: good complete meal It was half rack of lamb, amarena cherries and amarone sauce, andcame with some sauteed kale + green beans and also broccoli in a creamy, cheesy sauce. The lamb was cooked perfect, and theycherries + sauce thing was out of this world! Really perfect combination of sweet and savory. The broccoli contraption was alsobeautiful! Tender cooked and that sauce - amazing! I wouldn't mind extra of just this. Kale was quite oily though. For dessert, fiancé ordered the Affogato (gelato, espresso but Decaf, hazelnut). The combo went well together and he loved it. The serverwas also super nice and got us a flourless chocolate torte to celebrate our anniversary. Such a beauty! Soft, melt in yourmouth, rich, dark, warm, just chocolate perfection! Read more

I went here with my husband for a weekend dinner plan and had a great time. The ambience was nice and the staff was courteous.... There were no vegetarian options on the menu but our server offered to create some vegetarian pasta options. For the appetizeras well, he suggested some options which weren't on the menu at all. We had roasted cauliflower gnocchi in pesto sauce, aBurrata cheese appetizer and a chocolate tortino for dessert. For drinks, we had two cocktails, 'naked and fabulous' and 'dolcevita'. The food tasted very well, both me and my husband overate. All in all had a great time! Read more

I love every aspect of this place: the vibe, the service, the drinks, and most importantly, the great food. Sophia the server... made us feel at home and was very attentive. Started off with the grilled romaine with caesar dressing and octopus. Both donejust right. For the entree, we had the Chilean sea bass with a delicate mashed potato kind of sauce and also the duck breastwith wild mushrooms and roasted figs. We could not tell which one we liked better. Both were perfection. They also served us aspecial anniversary warm chocolate mousse like thing that topped the night off. This is one of the few must go places in town. And will be back sooner than later Read more
