Tried ordering a bloody marry and was just glared at by the bartender who sternly shook their head at me but didnt say a word. I... was so taken aback that I didn't know what else to order and he just walked away without offering any suggestions. I eventuallyjust ordered what my friend next to me ordered and had a really awkward time feeling like the bartender hated life. Would havespent a lot of money had it been a more welcoming atmosphere. ---------- (Response to owners reply) I'm not sure what you meanby "did you ask him to bloody marry you?" Your phrasing seems like I did something of poor choice or dirty when I was simplytrying to order my favorite drink. I can clearly see from your lack of acknowledgment and consideration to our experience thatthis is not a bar we will be returning to. Thanks. Read more

The bar was great, really cool environment, cool patrons. I enjoyed it. However, one of the employees offered to help me buy... something and so I gave him money and he ripped me off, stole 100$ from me. Tall, medium build, short hair, white. Don't trusthim. He seemed like a really cool guy so I trusted him, but it was my fault for trusting a stranger. He said his name was Philbut I bet it was a fake name. It's unfortunate they have an employee who is willing to take advantage of patrons and steal moneyfrom them. Read more

Great spot for a drink in a historic part of Seattle, but the bar stools could use a little help. They also have some cool... t-shirts. My Brother said he would buy one (after the game).. but never went back. It's now his Christmas present. Read more

Great historical venue for small concerts and drinks. It's old and it's smelly in there but the atmosphere is great. Pretty laid... back. I had a cider and it was pretty good too. The service is good. The staff is attentive. Read more

Old Seattle history right here. Many bands you've heard of played here before hitting the big time! Good drinks, decent beer... selection. Music most days of the week. $10 cover on busy nights/wknd. Bartenders are attentive, no wait staff. 1 TV in theplace, a game might be on, not a sports bar. Very accessible disability-wise. Read more
