I have to be honest. A lot of these dishes are spicy. You won't be asked how many star... but if you like spice and flavor....... enjoy. The flavors are not something you find in a lot of restaurants. The spicy popcorn chicken has hundreds of spicypeppers. My nose is running... my eyes are watering... I can't stop eating. If you want something spicy and keep you warm you found it here. The dishes are not for the beginner eater. The dishes are... spicy and adventurous. The rabbit and the chicken dishes are good while the cabbage was surprisingly good. A good light beeris a great complement to a wonderful meal at this location. Delicious food! It?s definitely on the spicy side but so so tasty! They have a GREAT menu lots of options and some you don?t see... everywhere. They also have food for kids my 1 year old loved the wontons and a few other less spicy options like the coldnoodles. It is a little pricey but good portion size and definitely worth it. We LOVE this place. We first tried it in Alhambra California and fell in love with it ever since. We?ve visited Chengdu Taste in... Las Vegas, Honolulu and Alhambra multiple times and the amazing thing is that they maintain the consistent taste across theirdifferent locations every time we visited. We were thrilled to learn that they finally are coming to Seattle and they did notdisappoint us at all. The same taste in Seattle too! Overall the food here is pretty spicy and tasty. I made a mistake with this place with Chengdu hot pot but it works out.... Everything we had was delicious. The price seems a bit the high end but that is how much it cost nowadays I guess... $200 foreverything we ordered, tax and tip, there were 5 of us. FYI, they closed super early even on the weekend so make sure you giveyourself over a 1 or 2 hours window before closing time. Because they will kick you out. Short: The dishes were expensive, extremely salty. Long: Salty. Like kidney stones salty. I never complained in a restaurant and... had food sent back. It wasn't even a choice, I gave them a second chance. It was better, still super salty on the second try.The server was really nice about it. So one star for the service, and one star for the well lit atmosphere, and tables wereclean. I tipped 20% on $100 it came with 3 dishes. I am writing this review because I am home with a dry mouth due to salt. I amnot going back. There are far better restaurants than this place. I believe most of the 5 star reviews are fake. Read more
Very delicious, authentic Chengdu food. Felt like a taste of home. So many delicious dishes it was hard to decide on which ones... to get, but everything we got was delicious. Nice full menu with appetizers and side dishes and lots of meat and seafood andveggie dishes plus rice and noodles dishes and dessert and beverage options as well. Also like the cozy cute interior withlittle dividers so each table space had more privacy. Clean and Covid friendly with auto temperature taking machine at entrance.Friendly waitstaff. Went here on a friend's recommendation and after a long hike. The food was pretty good. Started with wonton with chilli sauce.... This was really good and tasty. We got the mixed chicken with pickled vegetables which I believe had the numbing sauce. This wasvery spicy and tasty. We paired this with shredded pork with green pepper fried rice. The combination tasted pretty well butshould have taken something with gravy. Anyway the taste of the fried rice was pretty good as well. The servers were polite andservice was pretty fast. Read more
