The food at this place is usually decent, but today the customer service was downright rude. Even before we entered, the waiter... came at the gate and told us that they're closed for an hour. The signboard outside says that they were supposed to be open. Acouple minutes later the same waiter came outside and invited us back in, gave us the menu and asked us to "order fast". 10minutes later they asked us to move tables as they asked more guests to come in. While the food is good, the customer servicesucks. Completely ruins the dining experience. Read more

Found this place first on Uber Eats. We got some of the same items as in the photos delivered. We enjoyed it a lot. So we... thought it would be even better in person. We took some friends for dinner and arrived right before the Saturday dinnerrush. I really enjoyed the space, and the experience. The food was enjoyed by all. Only item I would recommend improving intexture/size is idli. What I loved was how authentic it felt. It was full of nostalgia for me. It is now my favorite Indianfood restaurant in the Seattle area. Will be going back and bringing more friends there. Read more

Love this restaurant. This place one of the best and authentic south indian delicacies. We usually order the kerala chicken... masala, kerala lamb curry, chicken chettinadu, mysore masala dosa and medu vada. Each of their entrees come with rice andfreshly made flaky kerala parathas. Their curries are so flavorful and delicious. Prior to the pandemic they used to serveamazing complimentary chai you can order some now a la carte. Overall love my dining experience here each time I come. Read more

This is my be favorite Indian restaurant in University district neighborhood. This time I ordered the vegetarian thali and my... husband got the special non vegetarian thali. Everything tasted good and we had a good meal. Their dosas are also pretty goodbut it?s been a while I have had it here. Ambience can be improved by de cluttering but again the pandemic time has been hard onmany businesses. Read more

Holy moly I can?t say enough wonderful things about this place! A group of four of us came on a Sunday around noon, where we... were immediately greeted and seated. We were checked on the perfect amount and food came about ten minutes from ordering. Ourwaitress was really attentive to the dietary needs of our group and made great suggestions. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, andhomey. Would definitely recommend! Read more

Excellent authentic Kerala/Tamilnadu fare. Went there on Jan 1st. Called ahead to make sure they were open, and they were. Its a... non pretentious place with separated seatings cause of Covid. The lady was very pleasant with a beaming voice. I would say therewere about 10 tables which could seat 4 people each. We were checked for our vaccination status and promptly seated. I believeit can get very crowded, but it wasnt so much when we got there (Jan 1st and around 6 pm). We ordered chai, sambar vada, idiyappam with egg curry and parotta with chicken chettinadu. All of them were authentic and nicely spiced (chettinadu style -ginger + black pepper). Note that sambar vada needs to be cut into pieces and let soak in the sambar (lentil stew) so that itgets soaked and soft. It was delicious. The idiyappam is - rice soft thin noodles, which take on the flavor of what you aresoaking it in. We chose egg curry and it didn?t disappoint! Always let it soak! Next was parotta with chicken curry. We didntwant rice and so the lady graciously offered to give us an extra parotta ! So we got a total of 3 parottas. The parottas werefreshly made and you could tell - flaky like a croissant! Again, the key is to let it soak it in the chicken curry and devourit! Oh how delightful:-) The chettinadu chicken curry, I think had too much of tomato flavor which I think is the only fault Icould find. Highly recommend! Read more
