Not that it was bad just not that it was good. For the cost I would expect an excellent experience. Plenty of better pasta... restaurants in Seattle to try first. Atmosphere was pretty basic also. Every time we wanted something (party of 2) we had toflag our waitress down to ask. She was friendly though so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Food wise though, par. Most likelywon’t be returning. Walked in with friends without a reservation on a Tuesday night and were seated pretty quickly. To our surprise (lucky us) it... was restaurant week and Cortina was participating. I had the steak tartare, sourdough (which was a little extra) the pasta dish(nice and spicy) and we shared dessert. Our friend picked a wine that was out of this world. All of that was only $60/personwhich for downtown Seattle isn't bad in my opinion. All in all it was a great experience for us. Thank you! Read more

Great Italian place in downtown Seattle. Price is reasonable to the location. They get really busy, reservation is a must. They... have wide variety of wine selection too. Good options are great. Read more

Great experience at Cortina. I had the summer sangria. It was white but I would have preferred a red sangria but I didn’t ask... before ordering. I also ordered an old fashioned. My dish was a little heavy on the salt. I tried others and they were not thesame. Not sure what went wrong. I would come back. Service was great and so was the ambiance. Read more

This is a chic location with stylish vibe. Mainly gatherings of professionals. Starters are small plates with eclectic styles.... Minimalist! Main course especially pasta has little meats-May be by design! Read more

3 stars because of the service we experienced. I would rate higher due to the food but it seems like they are still working out... things as they opened not that long ago when this review is written. The positives: Their cocktails were very good. A goodamount of alcohol and flavorful. The food. The pasta was cooked perfectly and seasoned exceptionally. The beef tartar wasclearly made with good beef. The negatives: Service. It took a good 10 minutes to get our first drinks from the time we orderedthem. The table next to us had their dessert delivered to their table while they were still eating their mains. Our dessert gotsent to the wrong table. This place has potential but they need to work out some things before I could give it a higher rating.I do plan on going back in a few months to see how things have changed since the food was exceptional.
