My sister treated me to some deep dish pizza and a salad. I was so stuffed, I had to ask for a box. This is a small location in... the University Village, been here before with my brother. 100% the real deal, and amazing pizza. I grew up in the Chicago area. And me, my mom, my stepdad, and a coworker who's also from... Chicago, all agree that they nailed true Chicago style pizza, and knocked it out of the park. Most places around here that SAYthey have Chicago style pizza, but it's usually all wrong. Get a stuffed pizza, and keep the toppings simple. Sausage andonion. Or just spinach. Like that. With thin crust or hand tossed, I like me a pizza with 10 frickin toppings or whatever. My boyfriend had never had a real, Chicago deep dish pizza before, because like many other things you don't experience growing... up in southeast Alaska, pizza that blows your mind is one of them. It was a pretty average experience. Honestly the service wasadequate, but definitely not stellar, and the pizza was good... but not as good as they are in Chicago. Our server smartlysuggested that we start with an appetizer because the pizzas have a long baking time. However our server fails when she didn'trealize that we never received the app. I would like to give it another try because they had other great looking dishes. So fornow 4 stars. Read more

The deep dish pizzas are amazing hot out of the oven. I definitely recommend to order ahead because they are definitely a 35min... wait, but they tell you that up front and on the menu. The small sized salad we got was also impressively large and good forsharing. Staff were friendly and overall definitely a great choice for some very, very indulgent 'za :) Read more
