The server was very good as she also was hostess and busser! Very clean inside. The food was very good also....but the prices!... Omgsh, for two of us it was $46.00 for lunch, not including tip! We had a turkey grill sandwich diet coke, and a chicken friedsteak and ice tea. I know grocery prices are out of control, but gone are the days we can just casually go out to lunch. Clean, quiet. Good music. Went around 930pm, only 6 other customers. Food was good for Denny's. We had eggs benedict and crepes... with cream and strawberries. Read more
What can you say about an American institution. Denny's vary from restaurant to restaurant but the Burien Denny's is soooo... goooood. Nice servers, good eats, flavors that take you back to your childhood. I have found memories of my Father and Istopping in at Denny's as we traversed the West Coast, this one restaurant brought back those memories on a plate! Had a wonderful experience here thanks to Xiomara! I went for dinner with my aunt & her 4 kids, we were greeted promptly, drinks... were brought fast and the order taken right after. She was the only server working and had a lot of other tables, but despitebeing busy she was attentive and patient. Food was great also. Will be back, thanks Xiomara :) Read more
We came at around 9:30 last night (Friday night) the women working seemed to be trying their best. We were not greeted but were... seated with four minutes. We ordered drinks and appetizers. By the time we finished our appetizers we still did not have ourwaters or drinks. We never received a refill throughout the meal. I asked for a side of veggies and was charged $18 for it. Sherefused to help address the inaccuracy of the bill. They gave us gravy uncooked and it was just a really depressing experienceto be treated like they treated us. The bill came to around $65 and it just really felt like we were being hustled by the staff.Below is an image of the receipt and the hash browns covered in gravy, which was a replacement for missing biscuits?so sad aboutthis. Denny's is the absolute best. I love this place. I have so many amazing childhood memories here of parties, fun times and... events. I remember going here for a military themed birthday party of mine when I was very young. The atmosphere of thisrestaurant is very warm and friendly and upbeat. You shouldn't feel like you are awkward in a good place like this. I like thearchitecture of the inside and it is unique. You don't see other restaurants with unusual ceilings like they do at Denny's. Theystill have that nice fun and friendly diner feel. The food is very good and I really enjoyed the Philly cheese steak omelettewith hash browns and bacon with the mango lemonade. The workers are very nice and friendly and the service is very good. Ireally enjoy going here because I know I'm always going to have a great time. Don't listen to what other negative people say.Their service and their food quality has greatly improved over the last few years and I would definitely recommend thisestablishment. I had a horrible experience here. Had a to go order for 5 of my team members. 1 double cheeseburger, 2 cheeseburgers, frechtoast... slam, and a glamsandwich. I tried to call ahead and no answer. When I arrived there to order. A couple showed up the same time Idid. The couple got to sit down and eat their lunch. And we both left at the same time. I waited 40 minutes. And to make mattersworse, half the order was ready. So by the time the other half came out it was cold. I was so upset, I wanted to talk to themanager. But, I didn't want my team to wait any longer. Plus, get colder. Forgot to add the sad double cheeseburger andcheeseburger. Not worth it. And no fries to boot. Read more
Okay. So, it's Denny's, right? Obviously not fine dining. But the Grand Slam selections have been a staple of Midwest-like... breakfast-at-any-time Americana food literally for my entire life. Same atmosphere, same style, same architecture, sameeverything. Just walking in the doors is like going back to my childhood. Sneer if you like, but I love it and am grateful forit the few times I eat there every year. It ain't Michelin, but it's Five Star to me. Read more
