Despite being pretty busy, the staff offered great service accompanied by great food. Our waiter, Kyle, was very nice and went... through the menu and gave suggestions being that it was our first time here. The cucumber appetizer was crunchy and had goodflavor, although not very spicy. The soup dumplings are packed with a great broth and it?s easy to lose track of how many you?veeaten. We also got the spicy shrimp and pork wontons, the spicy sauce while light on the spice is super flavorful and even alittle sweet which paired wonderfully with the rest of the dish. Lastly the noodles with chicken were super yummy too! Overall, vibes are good here and the food lives up to the expectations. Read more

We had bar seating which enabled us to skip the wait, which was about 45 minutes. The bar was a great place to sit - kind bar... staff, fast access to drinks, and a more casual atmosphere compared to sitting at a table. I obviously came for the soupdumplings and was not disappointed. Din Tai Fung was a great spot for an after work date night, but I'd encourage making areservation if you would like a table. Being my first time in Seattle, experiencing food life here, we tried this place out. Busy evening on a Thursday, waited over an... hour to be seated. No worries since we're on vacation, the food was served decent timing. The quality was great, the server wasprompt, every bite was satisfying with the full amount of flavor in each dish. Seattle does well with food here in this city.Good job. Read more

Din Tai Fung is a chain of Asian food, specializing in dumplings. We went as a large group, ordered a lot of food, and split it... family style. Service was average and drinks were solid (I got the house-style old fashioned). The vegetable dishes (stringbeans and broccoli) were surprisingly one of their strongest suit, I would recommend getting one if you go. The sesame noodleswere average but better than what you can make at home. However, the dumplings were honestly lacking. I?m guessing taste variesby location as internationally sourced ingredients are different. I?ve had better dumplings at non-chains. Read more

My friend recommended me to this place. Ambience is too good. Host was very welcoming and made us so comfortable. Since it was... my first time, host helped us with placing the order also what goes good with what was told. Which actually was so helpful andkind. Ordered String beans with garlic, Vegan Dumplings, Vegan noodles with spicy sauce, Vegetarian fried rice and Taiwanese Hottea. All the food was so so deliciously good. Do try the hot sauce with dumplings they are so good. Tea had a refreshingtaste. Quantity of noodles and fried rice is just for a person. We get 10 dumplings, good for 3 people. I will definitely visitagain as I missed desserts this time. Read more

I came here with my boyfriend for my birthday on May 23 during our vacation to Seattle. We were very impressed with the ambience... of the restaurant, the friendly customer service and the awesome food! I wish I could remember the name of our waiter (writingthis review kind of late) but he was great with giving suggestions and describing each dish to us. We loved seeing the bigbuildings of Seattle as we were seated next to big beautiful windows. I highly recommend the wood ear mushroom appetizer. It?s acold app but the snap and flavor of the mushrooms is amazing! We loved the Kurobuta Pork axial Long Bao (and the directions onhow to properly eat them placed at our table). So delicious! The dumplings and pork buns of course were amazing. Try any you seefit! I also highly recommend the Noodles with Spicy Sauce. They?re spicy but not insanely spicy for those seeking a littleflavor adventure. Read more

Another location of Din Tai Fung! People just love the taiwanese cuisine served here! The prices are reflective of the quality... taken to produce each dish (not necessarily the ingredient cost). Also given the lineups, they can keep the prices up. We enjoycoming here for the great service and tasty food. I would recommend trying one of the fried rice dishes at least once. Read more

Dined in after a few years. They've expanded their veggie menu! Everything was top notch so so delicious. Cannot recommend one... item over another. Plenty of vegan options as they leave egg out of their dough. Try the noodles, wontons, buns, dumplings, andif you're okay with egg the fried rice. Great hot sake offering as well, piping hot.
