We love the sourdough bread and pork chop. Duck breast and ceviche are good. Overall pretty decent, but given the price I’ll... give 4 stars. Read more

This was an amazing experience and I will definitely go back. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and they had a little... birthday note and some champagne and everyone was so so nice. Our server, Heather, was amazing and expertly presented the menuand vibe for us to choose our own adventure. loved the charred broccoli, albondigas, steak, and ceviche...then thesourdoughnuts at the end ???????? incredibly balanced cocktails as well, highly recommend! This place has really good service, and I want to emphasize that because a lot of really nice restaurants in Seattle don't seem... to have that. They have a nice concept and they execute it really well, lot of good vegetarian options. The fried eggplant wasparticularly delicious, and that treatment was completely new to me. I'm excited to go back when their seasonals change. ???? Read more

Fantastical flavors for in the heart of Green Lake. This place truly hits the sweet spot between creativity and accessibility... and has no business being so spectacular all by itself in Green Lake village. The cocktails (Red Canada & Limelight) were strongand imaginative like Autumn sunshine, the appetizer (halibut ceviche) tasted like a breeze on the Pacific side of Costa Ricanbreeze, the Shrimp and melon complimented each other like two old friends, and the off menu halibut collar stole the show with arobust char and a melt-in-your-mouth fat profile that made us buy a lottery ticket to capitalize on our good fortune This placeis a must try and a welcome departure from average crowd pleasers in Ballard and Fremont Read more

Delicious food with pan-American & farm-to-table flair -- I enjoy this place so much I honestly don't want to tell you about it.... ;) Simply put: EIGHT Row offers the best prix fixe brunch in Seattle with a 5-round, sweet and savory menu that changes everyweekend. 35$/person, available family style to large groups. The Brunch Crowd hasn't made this a 2-hour weekend wait yet, but Ithink it's inevitable. (Hurry, before word gets out!) Dinner is served entree style or as a structured multi-course menu. When you are here, delight and pay attention: the chefs are doing a thing or at the very least trying to. Their food isaspirational and delicious. And, for how much artistry they put into it, affordable. ;) I'll definitely be back! Specificmeal review (dinner): I recently had their delicious hominy-focused Posole served pho-style with a plate of optional add-ons(strips of fried flour tortilla, fresh cilantro, jalapeño slices, vinegar-soaked radish slices) followed by wild PNW Halibutover a green mole that was so delicious I was nearly compelled to lick the plate clean. The veggie side of fiddlehead fern, sousvide leeks (so... boiled), and grilled(?) tomatillo was saved by the tomatillo -- which was fantastic with each bite of Halibutcon mole. Should have stopped there.... but I didnt: the olive oil brownie I ordered for dessert had a rich, dense texture thatwas delicious with the light, Mexican chocolate ice cream (without this, the brownie was a little dry) and some topping that waspeanut-y and flaky like the inside of a butterfinger candybar-- yummy add. The peanut butter mousse didn't offer much but wasn'ta distraction. I think it missed the mark in texture and, being a PB&J aficionado from way back, could have been more PBy. ;)The dessert plating was also curiously odd and made me smile: everything was assembled on the far left edge of a large roundplate, leaving a good 75% of the plate completely empty. Lol, this restaurant plates with intent, s Read more

Went there for Sunday brunch. Food is over burnt, and I told the waitress, they did nothing about it. Neither sending it back,... nor give any compensation. Duck confit is simply fried omelette egg+some duck pieces on top. I also notice they charged 7dollars for sparkling water which I didn’t expect because they never introduce the price when they ask for my choice. Mostimportantly, overall food is barely okay. Nothing special, oysters are bitter, entrées are even a little oily and salty, and Ipaid 70+ for it. Definitely not worth it. Read more

EightRow is GREAT. We read about the place in a list of new restaurants in the Green Lake area and decided to try it out. No big... expectations: it was a very pleasant surprise! The design of the place is very nice, and the service friendly and efficient. Thefood was delicious. We tried the ceviche, the sweet corn tamale, the pork chop with stone fruit mole and the halibut with salsamacha. The flavors were a nice fusion mix between Mexican ingredients with a modern bistro twist. Bold, strong and well balanceddishes. Everything was delicious and so innovative. Will return for sure!
