Maybe it?s because I moved from the east coast and have had better bagels but the bagels I got were hard, small, and... underwhelming :/ Updated review as of 11/25: I came here yesterday and got an everything bagel with Za?atar-scallion creamcheese. The bagel itself was burnt on the outside and was gooey on the inside (so underdone kind of?). The cream cheese itselfwas very good though. I also got an iced coffee with some vanilla syrup and I?m not even sure how they could get a coffee drinkincorrect but it was so awful I had to throw it out. When stone Way Cafe reopens I recommend everyone going there for theirbreakfast needs and if you?re in search for a bagel I recommend QFC. Read more

Yummy bagels. A bit small but I guess that?s the Montreal style part. Great cream cheese blends. My fave is z?atar scallion on... an everything bagel. Read more

This place makes amazing bagels, hands down some of the best in the city. Wood fired makes a difference for sure. Try any of... their sandwiches they are sure not to disappoint! Coffee on the other had is mediocre at best, try aroom just down the streetfor a unique experience. Read more

Wow is this place horrible. The bagels are tiny, expensive and HARD (like 2 days old bagels that have been left out). In fact,... I've had 5 days old bagels that we're refrigerated that tasted significantly better and weren't as hard and dense. We alsoordered the "8" oz lox spread and received less than 7 oz and that's including the container weight! We will not be goingback! Edit: It's been 4 years since I tried Eltana and Old Salt was unfortunately closed, so we gave Eltana another shot due toour toddler begging for bagels. The outside smelled strongly of pee for half of their patio... So that was a great appetizingstart while waiting for our bagels to be toasted. Their bagels this time weren't as hard, however, they tasted very similar toThomas Bagels or dry old bagels you'd at a complimentary breakfast for a Best Western. Even better, the turkey bacon sandwichstrongly resembled a Lunchable. Once my husband said that, I felt like I was eating an expensive adult Lunchable and I couldn'ttaste anything but that. My toddler who loves her weekly bagels from Old Salt refused to eat it after a small nibble. She ALWAYSdevours her bagel from Old Salt regardless of which topping we get her there. Finally, unless you love green olives, I'd skipthe olive & herb spread. It was extremely overpowering of a flavor, but maybe that's a good thing for these bagels Read more

2 stars because the bagel itself tastes good, but this the lox bagel. No sides of onion, capers or anything else that comes with... a typical lox bagel and not even enough salmon to cover half the bagel. Read more

I stop here every weekend for breakfast and love it. The staff is friendly and attentive, the line moves quickly. Don?t come to... Eltana expecting the stereotypical Long Island style bagel that?s big and fluffy. These delicious wood fired bagels are smaller(and maybe not ideal for breakfast sandwiches because of that) and so satisfying. The speciality cream cheeses are worth it (andthey give you A LOT- I usually ask for half). I?m from NYC and love these bagels, but they?re not the same as NYC bagels andnot trying to be. My favorite is the za?atar on an everything bagel and the honey almond on a cinnamon raisin bagel. Read more
