Wonderful service while providing the best locally crafted artisan chocolatier. Great for gifts or to satisfy that craving!

Wonderful store! They have a viewing window for you to watch the chocolate being made. Purchased several chocolates as a gift. I... thought I was missing one and they were willing to make sure I came in to provide it to me but I ended up finding it in the bagand I made sure to call back to confirm I found it and was no longer going in. Highly recommend the shop. Read more

Maybe if I had visited when everything was open would I give this more stars. Nothing was open inside, the cafe area, bathrooms... were closed off and even the production lines were empty ( although to be fair it was on a weekend, so maybe only on theweekdays) and only a single employee was working inside. Their selection was fairly small for their flagship store and it justlooked empty and disappointing. The building itself is beautiful though. I'd reccomend visiting the other well knownchocolatiers in the Seattle area. Free parking is available in the back of the building. Read more

I love their chocolate and I appreciate they give us some extra pieces to try. It?s a little odd that they often give me salted... caramel as free sample after I buy 20-40 pieces of chocolate truffles. There is a reason why I only buy chocolates. I do notlike caramel ???? Read more

I Love this place a little too much. Chocolates are always so good. And the interior decor is an old school Seattle brewery.... (Seattle Brewing & Malting Co.) Beautiful place, feels like you stepped back in time Read more

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour where a sales associate talked about Georgetown and the building the chocolates are made in. Then... got to try a variety of treats while learning about the ingredients that went into them. Used the 10% discount on a shoppingspree. Read more

A wonderful opportunity to take a guided tasting experience that is both delicious and educational. Fran's Chocolates'... Georgetown location is beautiful. There's ample street parking on Airport Way S., and unless it's around the holidays you'llfind yourself and maybe a couple others as the only customers in their retail store which makes for quick and easy shopping.Held in the original Seattle Brewing and Malting Company building, their retail space includes the original winding staircase onthe first floor, as well as the original floor (as much as they could salvage), and original brick on the walls. The staff arehelpful and radically knowledgeable about the history of Fran. Yes, there is a Fran. The guided tasting experience will lead youto large windows in their factory where you get to see the vast and clean space where all the chocolate magic happens. Afterviewing the factory floor, the staff will guide you back to the retail space to taste a few small pieces of chocolate. A fewpieces is plenty, I assure you. They'll include educational props and an overall history of the chocolate making process whilebeing quick and thorough in answering all of our questions. The overall guided tasting experience lasted about 45 minutes or so.The cost is $10 per person and a courtesy 10% discount in their store is provided. This would be a great family activity or forchocolate lovers or for family and friends visiting out of town who are interested in learning more about the biggest chocolatecompany in Seattle. Read more
