We had our 7 month old 65 lb pup stay during the day here for 4 consecutive days. I was very worried about leaving him for long... amounts of time. They understood this dilemma maybe even more than I did and couldn?t have been more helpful and supportive. Thebest way to describe the people/place is you can see they care about dogs but more importantly they understand dogs and how todeal with them as a group. The workers here are very friendly and always make sure the dogs and (human) customers are enjoying themselves. This is an... excellent way to socialize with friends while having your dogs run around. Fire pits are available to keep you warm on rainydays. Wish they had a place like this in Vancouver, Canada. My pup and I LOVE Growlerz! I adopted my new pup at the beginning of the pandemic and after his vaccinations I wanted him to be... socialized with other dogs but hearing a lot of horror stories about public dog parks I was hesitant. After looking around Ifound out that Growlerz just opened up for day care and was a quick walk from my house! The fact that all dogs requirevaccination for entry and that dogs at day care went through temperament testing was reassuring to hear as a nervous dog parent.From the very first email and interaction Caryn and Karl were very welcoming and responsive. You can definitely tell how muchthey love dogs. I dropped my pup off for temperament testing and shortly after Caryn said he passed and is welcome to stay forthe full day. My pup came home with a great report card and was very tired and happy - I was sold! He's 8 months old now and wego to day care at least 2x a week and the results from this daily exercise and interaction with other dogs have been fantastic.He recently started taking training classes during day care with Elisa and I continue to see improvement every week. We also goto play park on the weekends and all the owners that come in are friendly, responsible, and keep an eye on their dogs. The baris also a huge plus ;) All of this while practicing safe social distancing of course. My dog and I are so grateful that Carynand Karl have created this space for dog lovers! I'm so lucky to have found Growlerz for my little Fry guy :) We've used both their daycare and play park services and the staff... have always been excellent. Even if you don't have dogs, you're welcome to come during play park hours and have a drink, which Ithink is great. If you have dogs, give this place a try! Read more
