If you are visiting Pikes Market and have a desire need of some good food, and you don’t want to travel to far. Hard Rock Cafe... is right up the street. The restaurant is minutes from the market. I will admit, the front of the building is not too appealing(Definitely not an eye grabber), and there may be a slight chance you may walk pass it if you are not watching out for it, butonce inside the view is appealing. The establishment has a lot of musical artifacts. The wife and I sat next to a lot of itemsthat belong to Kurt Cobain. Across the room, I did noticed a LA Lakers jersey of Magic Johnson (Sports weird). As for theservice, I was quite please with it. We had a server by the name of Farrah. She was very nice and bubbly. As for the food, I wasa little concern about it. The food was good and most of it was hot except for my side order of fries. When my fries arrived ,to my surprise they wasn’t hot (Luke warm). I know for a fact, that my order was not just cooked or was it sitting under aheat lamp waiting to be served. It just didn’t feel that way! Our drinks was good. The price was a little spendy. They do havea small gift shop but I did not go in there. Would I go back to this particular establishment — I don’t know! I am glad thatI did go and experience eating at a Hard Rock cafe (first time), and I do plan on visiting other establishments throughout thecountry. Went to Hard Rock for the first time yesterday and the food was great (big portions!) and the drinks were very good as well!... Server was kind and attentive to our table . Many creative options for mixed cocktails too! What I liked most was the option toget to take home a souvenir Hard Rock Cafe glass from the gift shop after you ordered a drink! This Hard Rock Cafe was gorgeous, and clean! Our waiter was attentive, and the food came out in a timely manner. The bar tender... was even kind enough to make a drink I requested that she’s never made before. All in all a great experience. Read more
I went there a couple months ago and ordered the steak salad which comes with a blue cheese vinaigrette dressing (As it states... on the menu)I’ve ordered this salad before at a couple other locations so I know how the dressing looks and tastes. When thewaitress brought me the salad it had, what looked to me like an Italian dressing. I told her I think they accidentally put thewrong dressing on my salad and she said that is the dressing it comes with. I told her OK well it must be different at thislocation because I’ve gone to the Hard Rock Cafes and it’s been the same at other locations. She said the Italian dressingplus blue cheese crumbles is what makes it a vinaigrette. Uhhh…ok well I’m not trying to argue just stated it must bedifferent at this location. She decided to have the manager come to my table and ask me if everything is ok. I told him yes, Ithought they accidentally put the wrong dressing on my salad and explained why but it’s ok I’ll eat it. He then said it’sthe same at all locations because he too had been to other hard rocks and that’s how they have always done it. The then askedif the dressing is more creamy. Yes it is! How would he know it’s creamy unless he knows he is full of it. Anyways, hopefullythey see this because I am including pictures of how the dressing should be. Read more
Just spent the day in Seattle. My son's never been to a Hard Rock Cafe. When we got there the greeter (possibly manager?) Told... us that it was reservations only, we couldn't sit in the bar area because I had a 16 year old. Even so he was apologetic andoffered to recommend some other options. Once I explained that this was the only place we wanted to go he went and checked withthe servers whether it was possible and very kindly got us a table. The gentlemen who served us was beyond helpful andattentive. I could not have asked for better service anywhere. If not for him we wouldn't have discovered upstairs. The onlyreason I'm not giving it 5 stars was the food, there was nothing essentially wrong with it, it just wasn't as good as usual forHard Rock. I'd still fully recommend going here. 100% Read more
Pulled pork sandwich was good. Pulled pork has good Flavor and not dry. Nacho needed to better, the sauce was too sweet, small... portion for price they charged, needed to ask more cheese. May be little salsa or hot sauce or something, for the price justmake nacho look like $17 nacho w side of guacamole, throw it few more beans and chips to make plate look full. Our server wasgood. They do charges taxes plus tips plus whatever on the bill, your food $$ after will be $$$. Price you paid for Hard RockCafe brand. I only went there because my friend is a fan of Hard Rock Cafe. I understand that part of going to a theme restaurant you should have different expectations. That being said. I am very... disappointed with this whole experience. Service was mediocre at best, the menu says they charge a 22% service charge becausethey pay a fair wage? Well I did not get 22% better service and food? Macaroni and cheese with 3.5 to 4oz of grilled chicken$21.70? Why? If it was the best Mac and cheese I have ever eaten, okay, but it wasn't. The burgers are less expensive with 2patties on them? The strawberry lemonade is just sweet and sour with strawberry syrup. Sweet and sour is not lemonade?? There ismore, but I see no reason to go on. I know I would certainly not recommend or go back. Very tasty food, but inside the restaurant was cold. The staff is friendly. The check included a tip without our permission. ... As a result, instead of $68, we paid $91. Not a very pleasant experience. Look carefully at the check before paying to avoidunpleasant surprises. Read more
