Fish quality was excellent and the staff was fun and attentive. On the pricy side but very much worth it!

Went for happy hour and found out they no longer have happy hour. Still wanted to try the food so I had the Korean ribs, JC... special roll, and the Awesome Possum. All very tasty and satisfying. Loved the atmosphere and will definitely return to try morefrom this wide variety menu. Read more

Confirmed a reservation for the sushi bar in advanced. Walked in and was told they were full, asked the person at the front desk... why we weren?t notified, he got snappy and told us to talk to the owner. Owner didn?t come up, but hostess kept escalating hisattitude so we left. Bizarre interaction. Read more

Food quality was mediocre. Most disappointing was the quality of service. The waitress partially missed our order. When we told... her about it, she said "oh it's going to take a while since the chef is backed up". The normal thing to do would be to get theorder expedited. And they are 20 percent gratuity, even though the service is grossly inadequate, creating a pretty misalignedincentive for the staff. Worst experience in our time at Seattle. Read more

Tucked away aloft the hills and wooded neighborhood above downtown Seattle, this quaint and unassuming local Japanese restaurant... will surprise and delight like a Ferrari-yellow Prius creeping up on you in a Target parking lot. "It was really good, Yum!" -says one 13 year old boy. Jae and his staff were authentically welcoming, with the warmth of your best friend's mother greetingyou at her home. At a table with four children, we were pleasantly surprised at the end of the meal with a mini cookie desertfor the kids, specially ordered from Japan. The meticulous preparation of the A. A. Ron roll, ordered from the fresh sushi list, renders a dish that is delightfully pleasant to the pallet. Crunching with crisp flakes and splashing with a hint of sour lemonthat commands you salivate and enjoy the combination of flavor and texture. Read more
