Great food, service, and experience! We all had different cuts of meat and was impressed with all of it. I personally had the... cold smoke prime rib (I believe it was called) so tender and could be cut with butterknife! Very flavorful as well. My husbandgot the filet mignot - simply to die for! He was obsessed over it and I took a small bite to try and was a little jealous howgood his was! Either way, very good experience and the waitress was very attentive and nice. I did try their onion rings andwould pass on it in the future. They weren't super crunchy and seasoning wasn't consistent and tasted bland but was happy to tryit out! Read more

My favorite “non-fussy” steakhouse anywhere. Just came back in town and ate here again after more than a decade, and they... haven’t skipped a beat. An amazing meal. Read more

The food was great. We set out to eat half of a cow and this place delivered with a 32 oz porterhouse that came precut and... cooked perfectly. Normally I wouldn’t want a precut steak but I am making an exception this time because cutting it would havebeen a pain especially with all the other food/plates on the table. Made sharing it a lot easier too. There is an option foryou food to come with “Oscar Prep” and the description for it sounds a lot better than what you actually get. I wasexpecting maybe some crab legs and asparagus on top of the giant steak. What actually came out was the tiniest portion of crabwith a pile of asparagus on a side plate. Wouldn’t recommend it. Lasted me all of about 1.5 bites. The Brussel sprouts werealso hit and miss. The serving was big and the sprouts tasted great. But again the description on the menu was misleading. Therewas supposed to be anchovies and jalapeños and capers with them but we did not find any of those things on there. Maybe theywere so small that they were buried under the mountain of Brussels, either way we did not find any of those things in the pile. Read more

Wonderful flavor, never thought of having a crabcake Benedict on brioche. The horseradish grated on the ribeye provided a... beautifully full flavor. Would definitely come back. Read more

This was a top notch dinner! Everything from the super friendly service to the amazing food was just perfect. If I could give it... more stars than 5 I would! Our waitress was super friendly, she really made us feel welcome. Service was quick and frequent, wenever felt like we weren't being taken care of. We started with the French onion soup and a starter Caesar salad, plus cocktailsfrom the bar. The cocktails were great and reasonably priced, soup and salad arrived fast and were totally up to par. A secondround of appetizers brought sauteed mushrooms and steak bites. Those steak bites - that sauce they were served in wassuperb.. Everyone at the table ordered steak for dinner. Our steaks were super flavorful, and the ribeye was so tender. Thecowboy spice rub was a fantastic addition, even if the roasted jalapeno was HOT! Also, try the sourdough! I could eat thesourdough all day! We all agreed that this was a wonderful neighborhood find, and I'll definitely be back! Read more

Nice meals all around for seven of us, from sirloin skewers to halibut to beef wellington to Ora King salmon. Everything done... well except a portion of the beef Wellington, that wasn't trimmed well. But Jak's made it right. Read more
