In a land of IPA this is a relaxed place to chill out and enjoy authentic English cask ales. Since the start of the pandemic it... has been impossible to find cask beer, even IPA, but this is an Oasis of cask ales and some of the finest examples I've evertasted. The dark mild is exemplary of the style and had so much flavor without being over filling and knocking you on yourarse. My favorites are the Best Bitter and the Winter Warmer. Cheers! Read more

My favorite place to grab a pint after work with my partner! Dog friendly and they normally have a guest beer on if you aren't... keen to cask beer. However I highly recommend their cask beer. My partner would bring me here and I slowly have developed a deeplove for cask beer and Machine House does it proper! One of our last visits they had a Nettle beer on and I couldn't get enoughof it! Machine House?s Dark Mild is one of my favorite beers in Seattle. It looks dark, but it goes down light. It?s good any time of... the day. Their seasonal beers are usually good with the occasional banger, but every now and then there?s a dud. But their DarkMild is always there, and it?s always good. This is cask beer. Google that if you?re not sure what that is. It?s not carbonatedor fully refrigerated. It?s an old way of doing things. And there?s a real charm to that. My second recommendation is to try abottle pour of their IPA. I think it?s better fully chilled. Three people run this operation. I don?t know how they do it. Butthey do it well. Read more
