Chill spot to grab a drink after work or with friends. Decent food, great service. Nick, the manager, is always running around... going the extra mile to make his customers feel welcome. I've been going to Mardrona Arms for a few years now and it seems thathe is almost ALWAYS there doing his thing. Honestly, I'd go so far as to say that if I were the owner, I would consider makinghim a biz partner. Wouldn't be surprised if he already has. Top notch guy and full of spirit! Cozy bar in Madrona. Very warm feeling decor and vibe from the staff. I ordered a dirty martini which was made to perfection-... cold and crisp with a perfect amount of brine. Read more
Great atmosphere, great service. Some good food items, some not so. The carmel apple dessert was not very good, just incredibly... sweet with nothing interesting taste wise. The corned beef and cabbage was disappointing. Slightly dry meat, under cookedcabbage, potatoes that were probably rehydrated. The pork sandwich was good. Read more
Staff was awesome, super friendly, and welcoming. The french fries were amazing. I had the Cubano, it had a little more sauce... then I like, it was enough that you could not taste the swiss, and it really could have used pickles, but I did like theaddition of the jalapeno. We got take out, and the food held up well traveling and did not get soggy, fries were even stillcrisp and we were walking and stopped for ice cream before we got home and dug. Good experience and if I am in area again wouldgive them another try. Read more
Went last night to grab a quick takeout to the water by Leschi. The staff was very sweet but messed up our order and the tacos I... ordered were so soggy they completely fell apart. Had to use a fork. Great place but the tacos need some major attention. Read more
Great place! Was greeted when I entered with a smile. Everyone was genuinely friendly. Not just being fake overly nice. Ordered... an Old Fashion and not only did Kate know how to make it, she she was quickly able to recommend a whiskey after I told her I'dprefer it sweeter rather than bitter. Read more
The owner & staff are always friendly. Our choir pops in on Sunday nights and they have learned many of our names! The food is... very good & the beer selection is pretty diverse - but there's always Guinness! Read more
