I been to a lot of beaches in my life. Small family owned food shack on a beach with a menu this extensive? I?m sorry, you just... don?t see that anywhere anymore, and it?s really special. Overpriced venue next to the beach. I ordered the chicken kebab plate. They serve it with a large salad. The white rice is... pretty flavorless. They top the whole dish with some sort of spice, maybe oregano. It does not enhance the flavor. I had toremind myself that I am in Ballard and that is why this food is so bland. Miri makes fresh, delicious food with love. I'd give her a hundred stars if I could! Her specialty, poffertjes, a big hit at the... Capital Hill Farmer's Market and Miri's Snack Shack in prior seasons, make a prominent appearance here along with her acai bowlsand smoothies. If you'd rather have a Full Tilt ice cream bar or popsicle, or a plain old Snickers bar, you can get those, too.This place just opened, and it is already very popular. Be patient and enjoy the beauty around you if you have to wait . . . ormake the long trek to another spot if you don't like lines. Also, for goodness sakes, be nice!
