First thing went to the restroom to wash hands however it stinks, smells, not clean at all. If it's a restaurant they should... abide with cleanliness. Ordered Dum Biryani, but it's not at all like a biryani. Not sure how they are running thebusiness..with lack of flavor, taste, not satisfying at all. Read more

This is now my new favorite indian restaurant in the Seattle area. Their Chicken Tandoori is the best. Also the Samosas with... chickpeas (see picture) is very delicious. Read more

Most dishes come with rice. The portions were also sizeable. Service was attentive and friendly. I got a butter chicken and it... was super buttery and flavorful. Would definitely come back again to get more! Read more

Are you looking for the best Indian food in Seattle? Well, you may have overshot and instead found the best Indian restaurant in... the US. The Punjabi flavors are amazing and cater to all spice levels. The portions are 1.5x what you expect. The service andowners are warm to patrons. After 20 years of living in the US, this is the restaurant that gets closest to the rich tastesthat only India typically delivers. You won?t find similar flavor in the most populated neighborhoods of Illinois, Texas, andCalifornia. Read more

Okay I didn't wanted to give this place a bad rating but they are doing pretty terrible recently. Their food quality has gone... down in just matter of weeks. I visited this place about a month ago and the food was pretty amazing. I tried their Mango Paneercurry and it was so well done. The next time I took some of my friends bragging about the gem of Indian restaurant this is. Andwhat they bring: Tomato Soup - they simply gave some tomato curry in name of soup. I ended up throwing it Mango Lemonade - Itwas frooti. There was no "lemonade" per say. Those who don't know frooti is a mango drink famous in India. Chicken curry - veryhard chicken not done well. One of my friend got sick next day after having chicken. Goan Paneer Curry - They served me Shahipaneer instead thinking no would mind. Panner was pretty decent and their roti was also good. But hey I didn't ordered that. Iam not giving it 1 star because the same restaurant served excellent food first time around. Read more

Dont be deceived by the size of the restaurant, they serve lip smacking food. If you like  indian cuisine dont miss this place.... We bought samosa and pakoda for starters, rotis, paneer kulcha and lachha paratha for main course with chilli panner and shahipaneer on the side. special mention to their samosas and chilli paneer. Their portion size is also pretty good. Overall goodservice , worth every penny. Read more

Oh wow! The food here is AMAZING and authentic! I have tried many Indian restaurants in US and abroad (except India - will... update this review once I visit!), and MotherIndia is top notch. Compared to other Seattle Indian restaurants, this place offersBETTER food at CHEAPER prices and LARGER portions. It truly can?t be beat!!! The food is so good that I wasn?t even bothered bythe wait. We had to wait over an hour for the food, but the taste more than made up for it!! Also, I think this is a rareoccurrence because they were short staffed that day and they had a lot of patrons (again, because the food is insanelydelicious!). The CHICKEN TIKKA is off the bone JUICY! The BIRIYANI RICE is so nicely seasoned. The NAAN was so big, that it isthe size of 3 people?s faces. The MANGO LASSI was thick and sweet. The SAMOSA was crazy crunchy and I am crave it every day. Ican?t wait to come back to try more dishes! Yes, you may encounter a long wait and they may not answer their phone, but trustme, it?s WORTH IT!!!!!!!!! Their service and food more than make up for it. It is so hard to find GOOD Indian food in the PNWand I?m so excited MotherIndia is here. Read more
