Went here for a late lunch with my husband and we absolutely loved it! It was pretty quiet that afternoon, so there was only a... short wait for the food and it was delicious. We ordered some drinks as well and they were top notch. We?ll definitely bevisiting Pel Meni again soon. Read more
My wife and I were excited to try this place tonight but the guy behind the counter was really rude. We asked if we could sit... anywhere and he just stared at us and in a condescending tone said "uh yeah, there's nobody here". We shrugged that off andstarted to review the menu. We noticed they were out of many items so we asked if there were any vegetarian options. He justsaid "No" and stared at us again with a sort of indifferent expression. Honestly was expecting to have authentic Russian pelmeni. Growing up, my mom would hand make them her self which was one of my... favorite meals. Trying the dumplings from other places, I know what they taste like roughly and have an expectation. Thepresentation here was great, it looked so good and tasty but in my first bite, my countenance grimaced upon the contact of theoverly vinegary-tasting dumpling. I payed 20+ dollars for food that made me feel Ill later In The evening. The older man thatwas working that evening worsened my friends and I?s feeling of the restaurant and would fully ignore us, have an attitude whenI tried to make small talk.
