I went here for restaurant week. The service was great! The indoor and outdoor areas both had a nice ambiance. I got the sesame... noodles and chrysanthemum salad. I really enjoyed the salad and the noodles were tasty! Read more

Foods are too salty for me. Cocktails are better than food. Eggplant and pork dumplings are okay ????

What an excellent dining experience! Came across the restaurant on an Eater list and decided to try it. We had a reservation... (which was great, because the place was busy!), and were seated promptly! I especially loved our servers - all of whom were sofriendly and had great recommendations. The menu was exciting - we loved the chrysanthemum salad and spicy eggplant (chilled) -amazing flavours and the spice level was just right! The Dan Dan noodles and the mushroom tofu fried rice were great largeplates to share. I got a Red Lantern to drink, and the flavour of hibiscus was superb. Overall, a 5 star dining experience, would highly recommend and would 100% visit again! Read more

Beautiful space with lovely servers. The food all sounds yummy on the menu, it looks gorgeous on the table and the first bites... are heaven! Then your teeth get hold of a szechuan peppercorn and the warm and intense (and temporary) numbing quality of thislegendary spice takes hold. And the szechuan pepper was not in just one dish, I think it was in every single dish we ordered! Wewould have gobbled everything up in minutes if we weren't slowed with the necessary recovery of our taste buds. If we ate toomuch of the peppercorn all of a sudden everything read as wildly salty and we had to pause. The turmeric ginger beverage is theperfect and most delicious way to calm the sensations. The fabulous cucumber dish helped too. We did 4 out of 5 stars for spicelevel and my thought is that this wasn't a scale for heat but for the intensity of the szechuan. I suggest dialing it down andordering a few dishes without the pepper and an extra bowl of rice. Don't skip the mapu tofu! I can't wait to come back and trymore! Read more

I really wanted to love this place. It’s so hard to find gluten-friendly Chinese. Drinks were great. A few of the dishes were... very good, but others were unimpressive. Fried chicken was the standout. Fried rice was flavorless. By “gluten-friendly”they clearly just omit soy sauce rather than replace it with something like Tamari. Too bad. I’ll probably be back, but Iwon’t be in any particular hurry. Read more

Great outdoor seating with excellent customer service. All my friends enjoyed the food and drink here. A little on the fusion... side. Each dishes is unique and full of flavors and Szechuan pepper. Cocktail price tags are very reasonable compare to othersurrounding places. We likely will return and try more of their dishes. Read more
