Stying in Seattle for a few days before a cruise and spotted this place while I was walking the area. The night I stopped in,... they were short on servers; the hostess gave me a few options and I opted to wait 20 mins for a table outside. They texted justbefore the 20 min mark. I order a cocktail that still showed on the online menu & apparently it was a seasonal cocktail, nolonger on the menu. The server made it for me anyway. For my meal, I ordered the fish (cod) & chips. Given the staffingshortage, I fully expected to wait a bit on the food, but came out very quickly. It was hot and delicious!! I wanted to try adessert, but was too full. Some of the BEST food around. Chicken sandwiches bigger than your face, fries with more garlic than you think you can handle,... and tacos so tasty that every day is Tuesday. Highly recommend. Read more

This has become our little gem of a local hangout! The food is amazing and quite the portion sizes- we have been here so many... times but these two dishes are some of my favorites. They have an incredible clam chowder and fish and chips as well! The staffis delightful and remember who we are when we come in. The atmosphere is cozy with a fireplace and they have outdoor seating aswell. I am thinking they are going to be massively busy when tourist season rolls upon us and hoping to be able to get a table! Had a really lovely experience here at night with friends. The lighting and amosphere are very cozy, drinks are good (really... enjoyed my Flower Bomb) and staff checked up on us frequently :) food looked really good too! Only tried the garlic fry basketwhich was amazing and super crispy - we thought they were double fried, but turns out they're made using GMO potatoes designedspecifically for fries. The food is always good! This is my 2nd time there & I love the food! We arrived at happy hour & I remembered these from my 1st... visit. We also ordered the garlic fries & those are one of the best in town. The kale salad both visits were refreshing. Lastlywe ordered the nachos & added some pork on top which made all of this meals, we came in only for a snack, the server did anexcellent job up selling! Been here a couple times. It seems like they are undergoing menu changes. Food is good nothing too crazy. Really liked the... waffles. Ordered the chicken and waffles on the brunch menu cus it came with braised greens but was served the dinner chickenwith salad. The lettuce was wilted. The chicken is thigh meat and the breading was not really attached. The meat slid out. Imstill really curious about the braised greens. Will probably go back. While visiting Seattle, we had lunch at Pub 70 on their patio. For drinks, we enjoyed the Alaskan Brewing White Ale, the Lucky... Envelope Brewing Blood Orange IPA, and the Republic of Cider Plum & Pucker Cider. For lunch, we had a Creamy Clam & LeekChowder, Marinated Kale Salad, Garlic Manila Clams, Pub 70 Reuben, and Pub 70 Burger. The Creamy Clam & Leek Chowder consistsof a creamy chowder cooked with diver-harvested clams, bacon, leeks, sweet cream, celery, carrot and onion, topped with freshdill and chopped bacon, and served with grilled bread. The Marinated Kale Salad consisted of kale marinated in apple cider,tossed with with honey crisp apple chunks, fresh cherry tomatoes, seasonal radish, shaved fennel, coriander dukkah and vegangranola. The Garlic Manila Clams consisted of manila clams cooked with cherry tomato, peppers, and garlic in a flavorful whitewine broth. It was also served with grilled bread. When we ordered this dish, we didn't know that peppers meant fresno chilipeppers. It was spicier than most of us would have liked. The Pub 70 Burger consisted of 8 oz burger patty topped withTillamook white cheddar, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickled red onions and dijonaise on a toasted brioche bun. The burger was dryand well done. The Pub 70 Reuben wasn't your typical reuben. It consisted of thick-cut corned beef brisket, special sauce, andstone ground mustard sauerkraut on toasted caraway rye bread. I didn't like their take on the classic sandwich nor enjoy thestone ground mustard sauerkraut. Read more
