This is such a fun bar in cap hill! On weekdays it's the perfect spot for happy hour and they also host events like trivia. They... always have great music playing as well as delicious drinks. We came for brunch on Sunday morning and it was PACKED. I don'tthink they take reservations so it's worth it to get there early since the place is small and fills up quick. We tried a bunchof the cocktails which were very fun and tasty. We also ordered food which took over an hour to come out. I'm glad I tried itbut I don't think it was worth waiting that long. They also offer bottomless mimosas for $28 Very limited parking in this area,you'll probably end up having to pay for a spot in one of the lots if you can't find street parking. Read more
I?ve walked by this place for ages and have always wanted to go in, but after trying it out today I can?t say it was worth... it. it?s an absolutely beautiful space with a nice, concise drinks menu, but service was incredibly slow, especially for aplace that wasn?t even full. at one point my friend and I were standing at the bar waiting to order (with 3 bartenders behindthe counter) and I believe we stood there for about 5 minutes before someone took our order. I swear one bartender was watchinga movie on a laptop with their back to us while we tried to get someone?s attention. the overall vibe for service was a littleodd and unwelcoming. my friend?s food order was delivered incorrectly (twice), so we ended up closing our tab and looking foranother place nearby for food. the place looks cool but didn?t stick the landing for us, and I wouldn?t recommend it. What a fun experience! Tried for the first time, during happy hour. Very large portions on the happy hour menu. My first poutine... dish and. I really liked it. What really stood out was the genuinely friendly service and the bartender. Our bartender wasfriendly, patient (it busy but not out control) and a teacher. He gave me a quick lesson on a variation on a Manhattan, orderedit and loved it. Wish I took more pictures. Another reason to return! I recommend this place for sure.
