Pretty nice place with a great diner vibe. There was about 5 mins waiting for Sunday brunch. I took the short stack of pancakes... with sides of pork sausage and pastrami. The pancakes were okay and the pastrami was nice. My wife got the eggs with lox whichwas pretty good with house potatoes and sourdough bread. The portion size was pretty good and service was fast Read more

Delicious brunch! Had the challah French toast 2x2 breakfast. Chicken and veggie sausage were really good. The French toast was... cooked well, the slices cut thick so it soaked up the egg mixture pretty well and when cooked had a nice almost custardy center.Seated within 10-15 minutes so not too long of a wait. Service was simple but pleasant. Another great brunch spot! Can?t wait totry their bagel sandwiches and their east coast deli sandwiches as well! Read more

Years ago I would come here fairly regularly. Was in the mood for a country fried steak and thought to stop by for brunch. I... hope that I had just caught them on an off-day and that they haven't actually declined, but I wasn't impressed. Got there afterthe brunch rush when things were slowing down but even so, our food was lukewarm and the bagels were so hard and stale you couldchip a tooth on them. Maybe I'll give them another chance sometime, but knowing what they were before compared to what I hadexperienced my last time there, I don't have a huge motivation to go back anytime soon. Best east coast bagels I've had on the west coast. Period. This is an authentic diner with really feel-good food. The staff... is also super friendly and hard working, to the point an off-shift employee stopped in just to say "hi" and, by their owndecision, ended up working forty minutes when they noticed how busy it was. Roxy's is a MUST visit. I know it will become oneof my regular stops! Read more

Eat here for breakfast but grab your coffee a few doors down at Cafe Ladro. Roxy?s has a standard diner menu and the food was... tasty. I ordered an egg bagel with veggies and my sister had a bagel with cream cheese and lox. All of it was good???????????????? I saw that the owner is from NJ (where I am also from) and he definitely captured the best parts of the oldskool diner atmosphere. Here?s why it doesn?t get five stars: (1) why is the coffee so bad? Clean those coffee pots guys ????or just get some drip from one of the excellent coffee shops around the corner. (2) make some updates. It feel like they haven?ttried anything new since 2004. Consider stocking oat or almond milk (I would be willing to pay for it). There is no competitionfor a hot breakfast in the area and Roxy?s needs a push to do better. Read more
