Wow. It was some personal and private experience with sushi. So freaking amazing. Have omakase if you are sure you will nor... complain about how much it costs. Great experience. Have omakase! The freshness of the ingredient and the artisan will blow youaway. Read more

What a fantastic experience. It's a private dinner with the chef. He has decades of experience and you get to have him cook for... you personally, there are no other people/groups aside from your group. The food itself is unique, every piece is carefully puttogether and has its own taste. And he only picks what's best from the market in season! Fantastic experience, will definitelycome again. There is only chef, me and my wife during the 2 hours dinner, and the chef doesn?t talk much, feel a little bit weird. The food... is not bad, but I don?t think it worth $200/person, really below my expectation. You can find many better sushi restaurantsaround Seattle for this price. And you cannot order more food when the sushi course is finished. Read more

No words can describe the culinary experience at Sai Sushi and Sake. What does come to mind is ?sublime?. A private dinner in a... quiet, subdued setting with Chef Sai, your own master sushi chef devoted entirely to you for nearly two hours, was both anhonour and privilege. It was an exceptional performance with grace worthy of applause. Every dish or piece of sushi wasmeticulously prepared and orchestrated with minute attention to detail. Creative use of ingredients such as spicy yuzu, smokesalt and wasabi stems were used delicately to accentuate flavours. Some of the many highlights included the torched Nodogurowith spicy yuzu, blood orange, shiso leaf and Himalayan pink salt, the Kawahagi from Japan garnished with its own liver andgreen onion, the hand roll with fatty tuna, hamachi marinated in ginger sauce, asparagus, shiso leaf and pickled radish, and thebaked Hotate with yellow and green zucchini, fish cake mousse, fresh crab and home made mayonnaise with no vinegar. Dishes andfish change regularly based on seasonality and Chef Sai?s ever changing inspiration. The price is expensive but worth every hardearned penny. Highly, highly recommend if you are fortunate enough to book a reservation. 5+ stars. Read more

4 star for the freshness and highlights of the menu but to be honest I?m expecting more flavors and types of dishes from the... omakase, or let?s say it didn?t surprise me in any way. The highlights of the menu for me were otoro and uni hand roll. Theywere sooooo rich in flavors and stays long in the mouth. I personally feel the overall flavor for all dishes is a bit plain andnot savory enough, and not much innovation. I?m expecting more! Read more

Private, delicious dinner with lots of sake selections. 11 pieces of sushi were work of art. Will definitely be back.

10/10 Recommend! The price is well worth it. Came on a Monday night and it?s only my party of 2. The dishes are fantastic in the... way they are presented. Chef put a lot of time in designing the Omakase menu and you can feel he?s passionate about his job????.Got to try 11 sashimi and 1 hand roll in addition to appetizers, soups and desert! Worth your money and definitely a decentpremium experience. It?s a hidden gem in the Seattle area. Read more

I've had Omakase at several restaurants including those here around Seattle and in Japan - I rank Sai's among the best Omakase... experiences I've had and would highly recommend it to those looking for great sushi in Seattle! Chef Sai was super friendly, describing each dish as it came out and asking for preferences (such as how much rice you prefer on your nigiri). All theingredients tasted super fresh - the uni was especially delicious. Everything, from the rice to the in-house soy sauce, added upto an amazing experience. I took my mom here for her birthday, and Sai had a beautiful bouquet of flowers at our table for her.I can't say enough with how pleasant our dinner was! The restaurant goes the extra mile for COVID safety. We had the only tablein the restaurant (which itself was a great experience to have your own private chef for the night). Mask trays were providedand there were air purifiers set up in the restaurant. Read more
