I know there is an inflation going on BUT charging $5.10 for each pupusa? La Cabaña in North Seattle has better quality and... size for $4.50 each pupusa. Como salvadoreño, I am no longer recommending this place to my gring@s and latino friends. Onething that I liked about these pupusas back in the days is that they were bigger with a lot of filling, but now parecen pupusasde a "cora" from El Salvador!!! This was my first and last time paying $5.10 for each pupusa. When the quality of the productit's worth it the price does not matter, this was not the case! Pobres gring@s se los estan bajando! So much deliciousness in the bakery cases, it's always hard to stick to "just a few". They provide a great description of each... item, so just buy what speaks to your heart. Mexican Wedding Cakes called to me today! Read more
I ordered a Guava Tres Leches cake for my husband?s birthday. Oh my goodness, it is scrumptious! We also picked up some pupusas... to go and they were gone before I could get a photo. We will definitely be back because this place is a gem! Read more
I mostly came here to get sweets (and they have an AWESOME bakery), but recently I got lunch here and wow! Their breakfast was... so good! I got the combo platter of a pupusa with a tamale with the rice and beans, as well as yet another cake I hadn't hadbefore (they have SO many sweets to choose from). Everything was so tasty. I'll definitely be coming by for breakfast or lunchagain. :) Read more
