Great middle eastern food spot, with everything you might expect, hummus, babaganoush, kababs and more. I love the lamb shank!

Classic gyro with greek fries. Prices are good. Staff is very polite and welcoming, food was out quick and was good. The meat... in the gyro was perfectly tender and the garnishes were fresh. Read more

I ordered a shawarma platter that is served with salad, rice, hummus, pita bread and chicken. The rice was delicious and... properly cooked but the chicken could have been better. I've had shawarma platters elsewhere in the same area and couldunarguably say that the chicken could have been more tender and well cooked. Overall the experience was okay. Read more

They messed up my $80 order then blamed the delivery service. The bars were still tied together. There was no chance the... delivery driver had anything to do with it. Then they were rude to me in the phone. Lousy customer service. Read more

I went to Schwarma King around 11/11:30 on a Tuesday night. I planned on dining in with a guest, unlike, most customers coming... in around that time to eat. They guys there treated me so warmly, made everything fresh. I got Egyptian foule, baba ganouj, chicken and lamb kofta, mint tea, baklava, and a sweet Chocolate roll. The Kofta takes a little bit longer to make but was worththe wait. My guest and I enjoyed the rich savory flavors of the Kofta, the earthy spicy foule, the sweet garlicky baba ganouj, the sweet and nutty flavors if the desserts all balanced and brought together by the mint tea, with fresh mint. I really likethis place and next time I go to a show at Bar or just find myself in the U district, I definitely stop by. Read more
