Staff was helpful but the float I got was only okay. Got the pineapple soda with guava sorbet as recommended by staff. The two... components didn?t feel like they combined well (not in terms of flavor but more component in itself). You were either drinkingthe soda or eating the sorbet. I would recommend that they blend/mix the two a bit first. The pineapple soda didn?t taste likepineapple but carbonated sugar water. The guava was yummy though. Read more
Shug's is a nice little ice cream parlor on 1st Ave close to Pike Place. The line can get pretty long because a little after we... ordered, the line reached out the door. We got the brownie sundae with pecan praline ice cream. The ice cream was really goodbut there wasn't enough brownie. Definitely need to go again to try their creamsicle floats! Read more

HUGE scoops of fresh-made and very delicious and decadent ice cream. Plus, shakes, malts, sundaes, etc. they even have NY egg... cream if that?s your fancy. Ample seating, private room available for groups and a 6-person counter/bar. Friendly staff andgreat value for a sweet treat. Highly recommend!!! Read more
Super fun ice cream shop with delicious flavors to choose from. We got the s'mores sundae and the worker behind the counter came... out to fire it up in front of us. Fun experience that my girls loved! The shop was clean and there was free self-serve water.Love the old-style feel with the bar you can sit at. Read more
I hired Shug's Soda Fountain for my wedding and Colleen was fantastic to work with. We went into their shop near Pike Place for... an ice cream tasting and to select our favorite flavors. She was so kind and helpful. We ended up postponing our wedding twicedue to Covid and she was super responsive, communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. The bike itself is adorableand the ice cream was a HUGE hit! I still have guests talking about how yummy it was. They have sorbet options for Dairy Freeguests. At first you might think the pricing is high, but turns out they have very generous portions at this ice cream shop. Fluffy... airy ice cream. A brownie sundae and a smore! So the s'mores weren't as good as we imagined and the brownie wasn't hot (not sure if that's... something one can request, you can try, if you prefer it that way) but the ice cream was delish. Though, 2 scoops just becametoo much for us to finish after lunch. So just keep in mind their scoops are pretty big and order accordingly.
