Great little bar at the end of Market in Ballard with cheap pitchers and good burgers. Watched the apple cup here and had a... great time cheering back and forth between huskies and cougs. Definitely recommended for a low key evening. Read more

Avoid the fish. I could have done better with the freezer section at Costco. Really, avoid the fish. Onions rings are good.... First bartender was terrible. Second one was better. Hard pass across the board. Read more

Nice dive bar in great location but why are the draft beers so expensive? You do not brew your own beer and you offer a low end... bar experience. Lower your beer prices and I will spend more money in your establishment. Get it?!?! ???? Thank you! Read more

One of the best dive bars of Ballard. Love this spot. Food is decent, beer is cheap, and always a good social scene.

The Sloop serves my favorite cheeseburger in Seattle. It's a great place to grab take out after a full day of work. It's also a... fun date-night destination and a great space for meeting groups of friends. The menu prices are reasonable and the service isalways friendly. Read more

Disappointed especially with all the upcharges that were not mentioned. Food wasn't bad but the prices for mediocre food is. On... the menu it says "$1-2 more due to inflation". My shrimp, fish, chips (which I actually only ordered rhe shrimp and chips butthe order was wrong) Was more than a few bucks. An upcharge for the potato salad which was not mentioned on the menu nor by thewaitress. Shrimp were not beer battered. they were standard battered grocery store frozen type shrimp and only 3 of them. 2small pieces of fish that were just okay and not a battering either. This was about $15 vs the advertised price. 4 Fish andChips husband got. Waitress offered three different fry options but didn't tell us there was an up charge, which ended up being$1. $19 for 4 small pieces of undercooked fish and seasoned fries. The change in all the fees is likely not legal. We didn'tknow the actual price would be as high especially with added up charges not noted. No service, no water and the male bartenderwas a bit rude to us. Husband's cider was decent $7. There's better places for food. This was poor bar food at expensiveprices. Read more

Finally made it here. Wish I?d come sooner. Good bar food selection with beer and wine (no hard liquor). Small or large (32oz)... beers. Old school atmosphere with pull tabs, pool, and darts. Covered seating in the back. This is a good place. Read more

Sloop is a local bar in the Ballard area. It's decently sized inside with a few seats outside as well. Pricing here is pretty... good and service is good. There are definitely a lot of regulars that come here and it makes it feel very local, but it's a nicespot off the main part of Market to get away from the normal stuff. Their food here is actually really good, and the portionsizes are good as well. Read more
