Loved this place! Small and inviting with a cool vintage motorcycle theme. My friends and I finally gave up on the nearby Hangar... Cafe after an hour wait and stumbled into this great little gem right around the corner. No wait, great service, excellentbreakfast dishes and decent beers with creative cocktail options. If I could criticize anything, it would be that the on-tapbeer selection is rather limited and most of the beers were on the lighter side. Could definitely benefit from a little morevariety and some more interesting drafts. Nonetheless, if you're fed up with the pretentious, overcrowded eateries around thisarea and desire tasty food and friendly service with a touch of rock attitude (and music), Smarty Pants is worth a stop. Poorly cooked Cafe food at high end restaurant prices. Have had better microwaved burritos, and my girlfriend's tortilla chips... were soaked and soggy when served for some reason. My drink was warm as well Read more
My first visit to Smarty Pants was a quick lunch take-out on a chilly winter Sunday. They were busy but not crowded, and nobody... was on the patio due to the windy weather. The menu had a lot of options but the only thing on my mind was an Italian sub. Itwas ready in under 10 minutes and I was on my way. Once I dug in, it was excellent! One of those sandwiches when you want totake a break and savor it, but you just can't put it down. The side of salsa (for the chips) was a nice touch and had a goodkick. If I was in the area again I'd definitely stop in for a sit-down lunch on the patio and try one the tasty-lookingcocktails I saw the bartender crafting. Good selection of sandwiches. Covered outdoor space for eating. Sandwich ingredients were good. However, my Chicago beef... sandwich was so drenched in jus that the roll fell apart to the point where it really wasn't a sandwich. Service was a bit onthe slow side. But overall, dinner was fine.
