This place was really disappointing. I was excited to eat at the oldest Chinese restaurant in Seattle with such glowing reviews,... but the food really let me down. The service was very friendly at least! We ordered an appetizer but our entrees came first, they said because the fryer was backed up. Normally, this wouldn't be such a big deal, but the food came out cold, as if theymade it, waited for the appetizer to go out first, then just brought the food when it took too long. The special fried ricecomes with sausage, bbq pork, and shrimp, but all three proteins were overcooked and dry. We tried the pineapple chicken, andalthough the chicken was perfectly cooked and fried to a perfect golden brown, it was served with cold pineapple chunks. Why? Wetried the oyster beef as we saw it was a popular dish, and the beef was nice and tender. The gravy was flavorful, but startedgetting filmy looking since it had cooled down a bit. Unfortunately I can't recommend this place. Read more

This place has a lot of great history. It's been passed down from generation to generation and the current owner is an... incredibly sweet man. This was also Bruce Lee's favorite restaurant with his favorite order being the garlic shrimp. I've hadthe garlic shrimp along with several other dishes and they were all great. One of the orders my friend had packed a bit offlavor but I can't remember which dish it was. Portion sizes are generous. Read more

Let me start of by saying that this restaurant was Bruce Lee?s favorite, he actually lived right across the street!! Came here... by recommendation and we loved it!!! It?s very authentic!! Beef chow fun (forgive me if I misspelled). The noodles were so chewyand and soft! The beef was melt in your mouth!! Staff was also super friendly! We really enjoyed eating here. Read more

Egg roll was 10/10 amazing! We also got the seafood combo which was ok. Prices are quite high but it's Seattle so I guess it's... expected. Canton style food to me personally is a little bit bland. Though it was fresh and tasted fine, it wasn't wellseasoned. Read more

First time visiting despite eating at many restaurants in Seattle over the years. What a great experience for our modest group.... The owner sawnour interest in the Bruce Lee table and immediately placed us there. What a step back in time. Felt like 1975 allover again. Of course we ordered what Bruce would order and also a few other dishes. The food was sooooo good and there wereabsolutely no leftovers! Will be returning again for future visits. Staff was great, food was out of this world and the vibe wasmost memorable. Read more

This is the oldest Chinese restaurant in Seattle. If you want to try authentic Chinese food, this is the place. Portions are... large, food is delicious and prices are really good. I got General Tso?s chicken and paid 16 USD. They bring complimentary teaand soup. Service is also really good. They accept credit card. Read more

Great place to eat! The price was fairly low and the food was delicious. We ordered a tofu bowl for us to share. I got the duck... wonton noodles. A whole roast duck would have cost us a lot. The duck was cooked very nicely and was very good. The staff werevery nice as well. Read more

This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants. I grew up eating here and it's always been good. You do have to show proof of covid... vaccine. They used to validate parking but no longer do. There's several parking lots you can pay to park. Tai Tung has the bestfried chicken in Washington in my opinion. We had fried chicken, special fried rice and chow mein. Read more
