This indian restaurant offers a more high-end feel but with authentic and special dishes. I liked that they had eggplant (baba... ganoush) as well as some other special Indian curries available. Prices are on the higher side but the atmosphere feels morelively with tons of outdoor dining space. They also gave us a small welcome appetizer and rice pudding dessert. Read more
Taste of India is our first dinner every time we are in Seattle. We lived in Seattle for over ten years and this was by far our... favorite Indian restaurant. The owner and the servers have always been wonderful. It?s also been lovely watching some of themgrow up through the years. One of the managers was just a teen when we first started eating here. On our recent visit toSeattle I realized I have never reviewed them. Shame on me! They are one of my favorite restaurants in the country. The food andservice is always amazing. Their menu can be overwhelming because it?s so large but I have honestly never had anything I didn?tthoroughly enjoy. Read more
The parking lot here is really tight, so if you can get here any other way than driving, I recommend that. The food here is... incredible! I love their mango curry, and their garlic naan. Everything is here is delicious and the outdoor seating is lovely. Read more
Ambiance is good. Good Food and fair amount of options. Must visit if you like Indian and ate nearby. Didn't have the best... experience with the staff. Had to request and wait for plates after food was ready. Never getting back on request to adjustheat. Maybe it was a one time thing. Overall was a good experience. Read more
Taste of India has been our favorite Indian restaurant for couple decades. We love the bottomless chai!! We always drive to U... district for Indian food. Tikka masala, butter chicken all very yummy. Spinach naan, garlic naan are great too. Service isgood and now during Covid there is big open space under cover where their parking spots used to be. Read more
The food here is really good and nicely presented. The waiters are like sharks walking around to check on you and quickly refill... your glass. I also loved the cozy outdoor seating. Read more
I am so impressed with Taste of India's food, service, and the overall experience! The service is thoughtful and attentive, my... cup of chai never emptied and they even gave us some to-go on the house! Including a slice of delicious cake to accompany it!The food shined just as bright as the service, perfectly portioned and full of flavor. We chose to sit outside on aparticularly cold day, and one of the staff noticed our heater wasn't disturbing a lot of heat and he came and adjusted it forus, unprompted. Definitely coming back. I had a wonderful experience here. The food was great and the service was wonderful. We even got complimentary starters. The... food was served fresh and the spice level was adjusted as asked for. Would definitely recommend and visit again. I love theirpatio setup. Read more
