In regards to breakfast this place was not very good. The menu is interesting and has variety, but the quality of the food is... poor. The service was even worse than the food. The server was very rude and short. Had his fingers in water pitcher when he washolding it by the rim. Was nice enough to refill coffee, but poured some onto the food of the person I was with. The secondstar is more than generous. The best thing about this place were the signs that the staff did not take heed, and the SpaceNeedle is in clear view. Maybe the food and service is better when you're inebriated. (*the 4 stars has to do with the signs, setup, and the view.) Read more

I love this place. It is a Seattle landmark and well deserving of the title. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food... is good and the portions are sufficient. They always have the best music playing as well as movies on the televisions. It canget a bit crowded on the weekends,so go early. I've had both breakfast and lunch options and no complaints. Best way to describethis place is a cross between a diner and dive bar. If you're a local check it out, if you're a tourist put it on thesightseeing/foodie list. Read more

Love this place! Come every time we visit Seattle. The staff are super friendly and always down to have a laugh with you. The... food is awesome, the omelette are so delicious and the breakfast specials have an option for everyone. The price is always righttoo. Just a 12/10 experience. Read more

Simple diner food. This is the type of comfort food I’d go for when I’m hungry for some grub. The menu selection is huge... and a little overwhelming but this is more of a happy problem. I wish the patty on the buffalo chicken sandwich was crispy andhad volume; it was rather flat and soggy. The food taste seems to me to be a little bland but was plated well nonetheless. Thecafe is next to Seattle center and provides a very intimate view of the space needle. The ambiance was also very relaxing. Seemslike the best time to go is on a nice summer day. At its core this IS just plain diner food. Read more

Food is a 5 star, our server rated 3 stars. He was gruff and not very friendly. My eggs were done to perfection; hash browns... were crisp outside, soft & moist inside; sausages were HUGE & tasty and the rye toast was excellent. The ambiance was great. Asan added bonus it sits in the shadow of the space needle, this view from their patio. Read more

I absolutely love this place. It is close to the Space Needle and surrounding museums. The atmosphere is appropriately... Seattle--the music on Mother's Day featured F**k the Pain Away by Peaches. And most importantly the food is delicious. I reallyenjoyed the cheese grits and chocolate chip pancakes. The chicken and biscuits were tasty. And they even had some vegetarianbreakfast options. Highly recommend this cafe Read more

Diner food just as I like it. Dined Saturday morning, arrived around 9am and there was a line already. Our wait for a table was... about 15 minutes. Outside dining, bar/counter and two sides of dining space, which was full (with wait/lineoutside). Ordered: Chicken Fried Steak Steak Omelette Okay (!)....first and foremost, be prepared for the HUGE servings! Themoment our food was served, it was a free-for-all laughter and conversation starter from other diners from both sides of ourtable. They, and us, were dumbfounded at how much food there was! We could have shared the food with 2 otherdiners. So... TIP#1 - If you're ordering what we ordered, maybe share and just get add'l smaller side orders. Food and coffeewas great. ???? Full house and very lively even for a breakfast crowd and, as I have mentioned, our side of the dining areaprobably added to the noise and laughter. Loved the ambiance, crowd, food and the service, specially, Jason, who was in chargeof the lines outside on the day we dined. This diner is a Seattle icon having been there for yearssss. As such, the bathroom, though clean, had doors that is not wheelchair accessible....OR maybe, they had another one which I did not see. Otherwise, highly recommend! Read more
